- This Sunday we are heading to 2012 at the Sydney Opera House for our performance of Born This Way.
On Tuesday 6th March 2012 The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain played live on the main stage at Sydney Opera House in Australia. The performance was released as a co-production between the Ukulele Orchestra and Litmus Films as a two disc DVD.

There are some bands like Ukulele Orchestra that you just feel fine when you listen to them.
Love Georges lead vocals on this power driven rendition and also equally the pure joy lockdown version with Ben on the vocals. Def one of my faves too.

Completely 'nailed' and proof that you're worth watching and listening to, even without your witty humour. Your abilities to arrange and interpret so many different musical styles and sometimes make us 'lol' as a bonus, is a gift that I for one am grateful for. I love this group of people and they epitomize the idea of wanting to join a band in how they were formed; thankfully Kitty who was a founding member together with George and they have gathered a larger entourage by people being inspired by playing the ukulele.

I want to like this... I just can't escape the feeling they're mocking the ukulele more than they are honoring it.
Since they have dedicated their lives to playing ukuleles and gaining new fans of the versatility of the instrument, mocking is the absolute last thing this amazing group of musicians are doing. Nor are their covers in any way mocking of the originals
