This is a nursery tour video filled with care tips of various species in terms of light, media, watering, and how to maintain those gorgeous splash that we have come to love in many hoya species. I ended up buying a ton of hoyas and show you a haul video in the end. Hoyas are not well appreciated in Indonesia, and it is my new mission to give this plant family a voice on my platform to encourage Indonesians to start collecting them!
Yes this nursery does ship worldwide too.

What a beauty of hoyas..
I like this video because of full attentions and detail enough
I always think it’s amazing how excited fellow plant lovers get looking at other people’s collections. Excitement rubs off for sure!
Yeah its very contageous lol.

Ahaaa.... 2nd time you visited Hoya Nursery and this time with a lot interesting knowledge about "raising" hoya. Thank you 👍👍👍
I really love it when you greet the plants “ hello “ ....! 😊😃💕
HOW have i missed this video?! lol. I love the sound of this language and thank you for the work in making the captioning. Beautiful hoyas.
"they look like cows grazing in green grass" This gave me a chuckle. I loved this video, thank you:]
I had no idea the leaves between Hoya species were so varied. It's great to see so many all together.
As a Filipino, i know Tagalog and Bahasa has similar linguistic origins. Like when you said “taon” for year, thats also our word for year. So hearing Bahasa kinda makes me think thats what Tagalog sounds like to foreigners lol
My gosh I was about to comment this exact thing!!! Hahahaha... it definitely makes me think that’s how ppl hear Tagalog. I also know kapampangan (a dialect in the Philippines) and when he said ‘ini’ for this, it’s the same word!
Haha yes I feel our language have remaints of our Spanish colonial past?
I didn't realize your language is so closely related to our main language in the Phillipnes. I had to do a double-take when I heard a few words we had in common. Also that hoya wayetii is now on my wishlist!
Yepp we have some similar words!
Pampangueño is closest
@@onlyplants Yes, and our ancestors from Indonesia, Malaysia, Borneo, etc, started from southern Philippines and made their way up. I observed words that are used in Bisaya and Tagalog, but I don't know about Ilocano and other languages up north.
I heard "ini", which is "this" in Ilonggo/Hiligaynon- my local dialect, "dahon" - leaf in both Bisaya, Hiligaynon, and Tagalog, "kusog" is "strong" in my dialect, and you used it when you said, 'I really appreciate', so same context. Hehe. And so many other similar words! :)
Oh, oh! I think I heard "ini naman ya", which is "and this one [is]" in my dialect. If I heard it right, anyway. Haha
You are doing a best tours on hoyas. Which one would you suggest best?😀
I am interested to import some😄

"Look at this leaf! So beautiful, so cute! It looks like if a bird shit on it!" :-)
I'm so glad I finally found someone who has the Hoya Parasitica Black Margin (MA07). I just bought mine and couldn't find much information about how to care for it.
It's supposed to grow orange flowers that are sweet in fragrance. 😍
Whoaaaa interesting. I actually propagated this so now I have a few babies. Cant wait to grow them out. Good thing you shared its name otherwise I wouldve forever called it MA07 haha
@@onlyplants Omg, I didn't think you would respond since it's an old video. Thank you so much for your response. 💖
Since you have two different black margin (MA07 and MA20), could you do a video (when you feel like it) presenting them and telling us how they've been behaving for you? I love your videos, the way you present and talk about plants. I also love when you get a bit "nerdy" in a good sense, when you go into details, and sharing information that not many youtubers do. 💖 🪴 🌱 🌿
your soo lucky
Wow Beautiful Hoyas👌👍
Hoya from Kalimantan / Borneo is the Best 👍
Wow, this nursery is amazing! The nurseries by me carry only about 4 or 5 types of Hoya. So wonderful to see all of these! Thank you.
I felt like a kid in candy store haha. So many wishlist added.
You got some great ones!
I’ve never actually heard the language before, very different from anything else! Like a mix of an Asian dialect with Portuguese !
Haha yes actually Indonesia was under Portuguese colony in the past 😀
@@onlyplants no way!! I was totally guessing!! The rolling rrr’s gave it away ♥️👍🏻
Great video! I love hearing different languages!

Hoya Goals
That pachyclada is real cute😍
Super cute. Especially when a few of them are grown in one full pot.
Hi Sean, have you been back to this nursery, we need new hoyas tour and updates on the cutting you bought!!
Haha they will be appearing my care and propagation video soon as they are ready to be cut 😀
Thanks for this! According to David Liddles catalogue, some Hoya species are native to Indonesia? It would be really awesome if you could focus a special episode on them and their growing habitat. In temperate climates the retusa and linearis grow like weeds, but we struggle with tropical species.
Hello, yes a lot of them are from here 🤓 will consider doing one soon. I struggle so hard with the linearis and retusa!
I know you probably have someone to ask, but if you would like to know i'll just give a quick summary of what works here.
East exposure
you are true! indonesia has 200-ish species, a friend of mine that's is hoya collector and a botani said that. im collecting hoya species from indonesia and gosh theyre all beautiful 😘

Estas plantas son muy hermosas yo tengo 5 diferentes y me gustaría coleccionar varias xk cuando florean me emisióno mucho como le haría para comprar algunos otras más y te felicito por que tienes muchos ejemplares y muy cuidadas
