Yeay! I love your descriptions - "an evil villain's lair" for the mossy carnivorous plants and "little fairies sleeping together in sleeping bags" - haha! So cute!
Haha 😅
Thanks a lot for inroducing sooo many lacunosas, my fqvourite hoya.
🥰🥰
Yay for the Hoya content! I love it! Yes, please do a nursery tour! That would be amazing!
Thank youu
Thank you for the thorough Hoya section! I love learning other genus of plants, too, but my heart is with the viny waxy jungly beauties. I cannot wait for a new Hoya nursery tour from you! In fact, that's how I found you years ago. I searched for Hoya on CZcams, and there it was. Your Hoya nursery tour. I enjoy your rare plants videos the most out of anything. You are doing a superior job! Keep going ❤️
Whoaaa thank you for this note. I shall make arrangements soon!
Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plants lovely collection beautiful
🥰🥰
So happy to see some hoyas! I love my large aroids, but hoyas hold a special place in my heart. I've had great success with all of my hoyas after converting them to LECA. Maybe that would be a good solution for you? You won't be able to overwater them. I just found a few took longer to adapt than others. I think my Krimson Queen took the longest to adapt after the switch, but now it's putting out tons of new leaves.
Leca might dry out a bit too fast for me as they are grown outdoors. But if indoors it would be an excellent medium
Loving this new backdrop/space!
Thank you 🥰🥰
im just gonna not gonna think about it too much and just enjoy this tour woohoooooo
Thank you 😀
I agree with you about the anthurium vitarifolium variegated. I find them very beautiful specially when you see great genetics. Thanks for the vid.
😀😀
This was so cool! I especially loved the Hoya content. It’s exciting to see new/unusual Hoya varieties.😊
Yeahhh I got to learn how a single species hoya can exist in many forms. That was so eye opening. Would love to dedicate a whole episode to this topic at some point
@@onlyplants yes please 😍
7:05 Anthurium chamberlainii, you can identify from the inflorescence, the moment one of these pops up it's usually sold out the same day
Thank you for showing us what’s coming soon. 💚😎💚
😀😀
So fun! It's so exciting to see how there are people who are passionate about plants in Indo. I really appreciate how you explain things in detail. I like buying plants from The Bee Hoya and would be so interested in seeing an episode on them! They have harder-to-find hoyas in great condition and they ship really well.
Thank youu. I would love to visit them for sure. Even their staffs are so passionate about hoyas!
Looks good
7:40 moodeanum is usually compared alongside the chamberlainii, rounder but wider leaves, shorter petioles
Thanks Sean, I’m a Hoya head I have around 30 types. My obovata and Kerri are my favourites. Loving these series well done. 😊
Thank youu
Thank you once again for the show. The foliage world is really beautiful and spectacular. I am an orchid grower and lover. Do show more orchids in your future episodes😁. And whether they do export. 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the input. Would theres a bit of orchid in next weeks episode in a Thailand nursery. But would love to do dedicated episodes! Orchids are hard to ship because they require CITES which is more strict that phytosanitary certification
@@onlyplants thanks Sean
Oh you got to meet Kunzo! I’m so jealous!
Yeahhh hes so cool
Loved this video! Thanks for covering lots of information on Hoyas.
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Lovely hoyas 👌🍃🤍
🥰
This show is unreal! One day I’ll come visit, it’s all too beautiful to resist. I would be shipping so many plants back to Canada 😅
It shocks me to hear some Indonesian facts you spit out, I thought there were many specialty growers for each species. Love love love your videos 🍀
Lol also how do you lose a plant? 😂 A wild world the tropics are, that would not happen here lol
Lol thank you
I hoarde too many 😅
Yes Sean we are enjoying, am excited too.Great video thank you.
🙌🏽
I follow the Japanese gentleman on Instagram in your thumbnail. I’d love to retire in the countryside of Japan.
He is someone you dont forget when you have a conversation with. A great mind.
18:25 Bulbophyllum, the largest genus of orchids with 2000-3000 species with more discovered all the time. can become a rabbit hole.
Thank you 🥰
Omg I just googled bulbophyllum and was blown away. Thank you!
Green plants will always be green … Pereskia aculeata cv. 'Godseffiana' dislikes this 😂
The ficus elastica I grew in full direct sunlight this summer is actually as dark as a burgundy. Its new growth, now inside, however comes in bright green, so this looks like a completely different plant.
I absolutely understand your thought and, of course, you are right, but one has to speak for the green plants, that do their best for our delight, if you let them do their thing. 😂
Oh, and don't forget how different high light leaves of a regular A. amazonica look, when they get white linings all over.
21:33 this looks a bit like a H. arnottiana with variegation to me, less latifolia, because latifolia has more cardboard like leaves, whereas arnottiana leaves feel and look quite leatherly, even meaty…
Thanks for this great new episode and I am looking forward for more Hoya content.
27:33 this might be a H. coriacea silver, one of the most hyped Hoyas in Insta these days.
Thanks for the share 😀 the hoya coriacea silver is so gorgeous
Thank you for your video
Thank youu 🥰
Tobe a collector for variegate beautiful plants is really uniqe.they are so beautiful brother.suka sekali lht konten bang sean
Makasih 😀😀
Excellent!
🙏🏽😀
4:24 that's the aurea variegated Alocasia cucullata I did mention in a previous comment
Sweet! Thank you
I have the Hoya Bella and the Hoya Retusa and yes your right, they both need a bit more water and they seem to need the seasonal changes, as my Retusa is covered with flowers 😊
Oh mann Im jealous 😅 i struggle so hard with the retusa
@@onlyplants I’m jealous of your amazing warm climate that you live in 😊 It’s starting to get cold here in the UK 🥶
The 'fairies in bed' orchid is called Anguloa Uniflora,or swaddled babies orchid. My gosh nature sure does have a bonkers sense of humour sometimes.....🙆♀️
Thank youu haha.
17:01 possibly the begonia kingiana
💚💚💚
OMG. My wishlist just grew alot. I will get poor soon. LOL
🙈🙈
Nice 😍😍😍😍.
🥰🥰
Supernice! Do you have flat mites on Hoya down there in SE Asia? How do you deal with that pest?
We have mealy bigs and oleander aphids on hoyas here. Neem oil or chemical pesticides work. They are also fairly easy to knock off with a hose… (and fun too)
@@onlyplants you have to stop this though, it's some kind of infantile disorder 😆
Where do these 'new' plants come from? Are they new plants found in the wild or made in labs?
Here are some that I know of..
1. Found in the wild
2. Natural mutation/adaptation in cultivation
3. Hybridization
4. Selective breeding
5. Deformity/mutation in tissue culture
Do you have a problem with flat mites on your Hoya in Indonesia? They have become a hot topic in the state’s recently. 🍁🍂🍁🦃💚🙃
Ive not heard of it but you are the second viewer to bring it up so somethings going on there 👻👻
Beautiful! so much to choose but no $$$$😩
We can admire it from afar, like I do 😅
@@onlyplants of course, some day I’ll will go to Jakarta
Can Indonesia send to UK? I had a big order cancelled from ecuagenera this week as UK require more paperwork which they were struggling to get? Very disappointed they had my money since September .. not thier fault it was all UK customs regulations
I believe you need an import permit. DM @titikhijau on insta, they are an export service and can give you free consultation
What is up with the green toilet?! 😂💨💩🪴
Haha to inspire people to put plants in their bathrooms 😀
🤣 I was waiting on you to say, This plant is so easy to grow, it will grow in your toilet. 🤣🤣
That’s a heavy prop to move around.
I just thought well that’s a strange place to have a potty.
