Many of the interviews go through Russia’s history at least from the nineties and Putin’s life as a bureaucrat and rise to power. I think they tried to fix this problem with questions at the end of the interview but it did not make up for what was missed. Perhaps he only had so much time to be interviewed? Even Kissinger said America's foreign policy(!) was a "response to cables." To what, exactly, is Putin reliable and loyal? He's a mindless thug, with only Jesus between him and suicide. From Jordan posting to Eastern Europe political affairs, n then in Moscow ur presence looms large, Mr William Burns - esp in Moscow since 2005 onwards ?
Same time as Secretary - State Ms Condolezza Rice, Michael Kirk.
Coinciding with the Orange n Red - revolutions - Ukraine n Georgia, Mr Burns n now the most famous yet invisible Mr William Burns heads the CIA.
Well our nature of jobs as such demands a behind the scenes presence, Mr Kirk.
Like the Music Director n the Editor / Cameraman of a film.
Again what an intriguing coincidence, Mr Burns, u shared the room, u were present when Mr Putin was the advisor to Mayor Sobchak n u recall, in hindsight, of not imagining then of this obscure man going onn to rise so dramatically.
Intriguing coincidences, Mr Burns - Mr Putin's presence in East Berlin as a KGB - officer, later as FSB head coinciding with, both the Sr n Jr George Bush's tenure as POTUS!
Left n right marching in tandem - CIA n KGB ( later FSB)
Both CIA n KGB - coming out of the shadows - so to spk - occupying - centre-stage!
    And the Chaos ensues !!!
Surely, the origins n roots of this malevolent chaos lies elsewhere, Mr Kirk?
    Al-Qaeda : Taliban : Saddam : Assad : Gaddafi etc, etc, etc...
Seven days in May - 1964 movie, apparently made at the request of JFK himself, - signalling the imminent n ongoing threat of the Military coup threat /tensions in America, yet was it not a 5 star General - Eisenhower - who occupied the WH - 1952?
Who was neither a Senator or a Congressman prior?
Post Harry Truman's - relieving - euphemism for sacking of the Great General Douglas MacArthur?
Is not the trumeted oldest democracy on earth Amerika ruled by the Military - overtly since post WW2 - coinciding with the famous "long n short" - BBC Radio4 broadcast by Princess Elizabeth from Capetown?
And yet this obsession, continues with Mr Putin's long dictatorial rule, some'd say propritory regime - Russia - drummed up largely by American channels?
    Whats brewing Mr Burns?
U mean the 3 Bz as described by Yanis Varoufakis economic exposition ?
Brewers : Bakers n Butchers!!! BBB?
Chaos, creative destruction - largely in the global South regions?
Only to Build back better - Sen Kirsten Sinema plan !!!
Only recently, post 2008 - Wall st meltdown - theatre of war slides slowly to Eurasia n now engulfing the NATI n UK/EU - again coinciding with the Brexit induced mess?
For a moment lets shift focus from Mr Putin to the shadowy world of the ultra-privileged Ambassadors /Diplomats, Mr Burns.
Why do u suppose would a rural Indian farmer - hv a JFK pikture hung in his modest home?
Those were the times, Mr Kirk, relatively far too less distractions, for significant global events trickling down to the bottom rung - all over the globe and particularly in the post indepence era the common freedom fighters would naturally hv more than 2/3 national leaders piktures at home.
Yet JFK's pikture in a village farmers house, isnt it a rarity? Could it signal to far more deeper connektions?
As we all know the charisma of JFK, his power to fire the imagination of one n all, it'd be only natural for someone to boast of being a globally aware one, i suppose.
Perhaps, yet more acutely aware of Amerikan influence n power direktly impacting, maybe menacingly to the agri-sector - then well over 70 % of India being agri dominant economy.
2 reasons / eminent dignitaries : Mr Chester Bowls n Mr John Kenneth Galbraith - Agri-economist - posted as Ambassadors to India - 1952 onwards : JKG in 1957 n then again Mr C Bowls presence looming large in the shadows, off course.
I recollect - Discovery of India - so to spk, memoirs of Amb Chester Bowls - covering in depth study n analysis of the Indian economy problems - first hand info he loved to gain insights n understanding of the host country - 1963-69.
Far/South east Asia - Korean /Vietnam wars : Wheat import saga - acuye food shortage...
Leading to a Green revolution - Punjab, besides the Milk revolution...
And off course the Pink revolutions - Southern regions!
Why leave out the buffaloes? Are they less holier, Mr Burns?
Leading to the fertilizer n pesticide boom boom!
And over 4 decades Punjab - slides precipitously to the bottom rung from top !
Hv we not come a full circle, again, now with agri / food-shortage being in focus, post Mr Bowls n Galbraith reign?
How appropriately named, Mr Bowls - the US - Ambassador to India !!!
    Bangla - Puchka-nomics - Mr Burns!

In politics it is the most evident of all. The last ressort in most casses ends employing barbarity and so evident throughout history.

I enjoy the interviews but the questions are fairly repetitive. Fair enough if you're trying to find a general consensus about each question but it does lean towards the boring side.
Burns does provide a honest account indeed. However, I do believe the US played some part in the uprisings in the Middle East, Ukraine and Georgia. It's what they do.
From my understanding there was no real evidence that Russia was behind the attacks. Firstly they were small and why would Russia play it's hand so soon and over such a small foreign relations incident. The result was puting NATO on high alert and providing the impetus to create a counter measure unit.

Now i recollect, Mr Kirk, since u mention, Chester Bowls n Agri economist US Ambassador to India in 50 n 60z, the probable reason for JFK's pikture hung up in few farmers homes in remote villages.
Jackqueline Kennedy's visit to India : Fatehpur Sikri, Agra - Taj mahal visit, Jaipur - Elephant ride n Delhi stops, at the express request, nay command if i may say so of JK Galbraith.
And the second reason Mr William?
The grand premiere of an over a decade n half in the making released in 1960...or soooh..
Mughale Azam - Shapporji Pallonji produced n financed grand movie, who's who leaders, celebrities of globe invited n attended the opening show in Bombay then...
Lets move on to the most explosive incident, literally n figuratively, last yr, not one but two...
    26 September, 2022
Nord Stream 1 n 2 Gas pipelines blown up n damaged off the Swedeish n Denmark coast...
Its under investigation i hear, n results should be de classified soner rather than later, most probably...
Seymour Hersh already claims to hv, identified the culprit based on a single anonymous source, pointing accusing fingers at WH - Biden admin, besides the CIA...
Single anonymous source, basis inv piece of findings purely speculatuve, not meriting attn Mr Kirk.
But a Carnegie endowment article by a former Gazprom Sr official - Sergai Valukov, makes similar explosive claims n compares this explisive to a Agatha Christie scripted mystery, hinting at not one but several characters acting in concert in sabotaging the nord stream 1 n 2 pipelines.
"Shock and awe : Who attacked the Nord pipelines" - 30 Sept 2022
    And his conclusions?
He makes several interesting points Mr William...
    Such as...
    Opening remarks...
" If the perpetrator was Russia, signalling value toward the west - US'd certainly know n recognize the threat to the maritime energy infrastructure"...
Captain Phillips - Pirates play ?
Nordstream AG - formally a Swiss company, not subject to any sanctions, and a member of the Pipeline Subsea and Repair Intervention Pool led by Norway’s Equinor, Swiss regd Company -...
    capable of carrying out repairs...
Denmark and Sweden suggest that sizeable explosions on the order of 100 kilograms of TNT occurred in both incidents.
Gas supplie to Europe as per the article may not be impacted, - Yamal pipeline - Poland - supportive of Ukraine...
but, the seven Norwegian pipelines in Baltic sea, one supplying gas to Poland - could they face a threat in nr future?
Threat pozed to entire marine energy infrastructure Mr Kirk, isnt it obvious, who's the perpetrator...
    Wonder, what'd Hercule Poirot conclude?
One or many, who sabotaged the pipeline...?
Or besides the pipeline sabotage, another dimension to it?
Such as, a N-bomb test explosion?
    2 flashes detected in S Antartica by a spy satellite- VELA - 6911 - 1979 - ???
Whats the second explosive incident u referred to?
15 th Nov 2022 - missile attack on a Poland - village, bordering Ukraine!!!
Astonishingly played down, by one n all - - NATO, US, n Russia!!!
Attack on one NATO member country constitutes an attack on all....

Listening to all the interviews about Putin it kind of created admiration for the man, dealing with a defiant american policy. Putin succeeded in holding them of, while he was tactically looking for a way to hold the attention of the Russian people. He must have been very knowlegable to the history and culture of his people. An very analytical of the strong people around him. And now he is also part of the "downfall" of America economic policy while he cultivate hois relation with China big man. In the interviews they all talk about policy but reality they try to understand "personal behaviour" and in which manner you can influence "the leader".
Putin has earned the attention of the world; interesting interviews.Furthermore we talk about "policy" but not to what means the importance of the knowledge; which is always economic and capital gains the american wanted to have. that is the neo-liberal talk. And as a scholar in the science of human behaviour I concur with the opinion of Putin that "american democracy" is not "real human democracy".
