  • Lawn care is my secondary source of income. It’s a part-time gig for me, but it’s a nice way to earn some extra money on the side and be your own boss. It helps that I enjoy doing my best to make my customers lawns look nice. In an upcoming video, I’ll display some basic equipment that I use to run my “solo” lawn care business. Now, if you’re looking to get rich, this is not the way to do it. It’s a great way, though, to stay in shape and earn some cash while doing it!
    Thanks for watching!

Respect! You’re a busy boy, first responder, hubby & weed fighter. Great attention to detail on this yard. BICYCLISTS BEWARE: men operating equipment can't hear you coming 😳

Nice. I couldn’t imagine doing it full time unless I had a crew.

Manuel, it depends on your local community and the work you’re doing. There tends to be an average price range depending on your location, but I have figured that if I’m making $60 an hour, I’m doing fairly well.

Like he said,it depends on your area and clientele. If it's close enough to me my minimum fee is $30 for mow, trim, and blow and I take into consideration the terrain, obstacles ( yard toys are a pain,so are pets), often I try to offer them bundles for fall cleanups, overseeding, housewashing, driveway sealing, etc. If I'm already there its money in the bank and I dont charge them as much for it as if someone just calling and asking for a one time service. Tryin stick with a given route once you get a few customers to save your time and fuel. I mow my sisters grass as a favor 3p minutes away from me and in 2 years of doing that I've picked up 6 customers that live in her neighborhood so I'm making an entire day out of mowing her neighborhood now. Each time I go down there I make $250. That leaves me with $200 profit. If you're push mowing to start you can stay very local and charge less because you'll have less overhead,it just takes longer.
