Soundproofed with Safe n Sound and Double-Drywalled throughout the Ceiling and Walls. We then made our own custom 3" sound absorbing panels to further treat the room for those bouncing echos. We also added extra padding on the door to further block the noise leaving the room. The entire room is on a dedicated 15A Circuit with Power Surge Protectors including the Projector and the entire AV Rack Unit.

Absolutely I will subscribe. You’ll learn that the small community that this hobby has supports all people in their journey. I can’t tell you how awesome your setup is man. Please post more. I will send you vids and pictures of my setup. We built and closed on our house about 3 weeks ago. I just finished up my network and put the last of the equipment in the rack. You’ve inspired me to make my setup the best it can be.
I’ve subscribed because this is by far the best I’ve seen on CZcams and you respond to comments. Would love to see a breakdown of the gear used, the whole creation process and obviously the cost. Also picture quality looked immaculate. I reckon you sold couple family members kidneys for that projector? Overall this was beautiful and I wish the video was longer
Haha thanks Justin! I'm definitely working on the next video! It was a long one that's why it's taking me so long to make it perfect/detailed and all...There is so much content to cover so I don't want to bore the audience and that's why I'm responding to each comment :) the overall cost of the theatre was around 50 with the speakers and all :) The entire basement included you can say 130 to 150K CAD. It's about 2500 to 3000 sq.ft. the project was 7K!

You can of course cut different segments say 15-20 minutes per video upload and keep us entertained. But for a short video I’ve watched this a million times already. Every single detail in the basement was an inspiration. I’m really stalked to see how you put everything together. Your channel has every potential of exploding and grow extremely fast. And the fact that you respond to comments means you’ll be able to see what viewers want see and make a win win for both of us

Great vibe heading into the theater. Really sets the mood. Hard to tell from a YT video, but it sounds a bit fatiguing in there. Do you have any acoustics? Need some of those highs tamed.

Thank you LexaPr0 🙏 and yes I did put up some sound absorbing panels on each sides for the front channels but nothing too crazy. No bass traps or diffusers yet. Maybe that's why. The room is double drywalled with sonopans and so is the door. It's quiet perfect now. Before it was a lot of echoes (without the sound panels)

Hello! Thank you so much... Actually I didn't buy them from anywhere. I designed it first with my choice of font/style etc. I couldnt find anything online. Basically these were custom made on MDF wood with cut out letters and then we were able to attach LED behind it and close it with a casing. I didn't do it however. It was done by a very good friend of mine. Would you like to get one done?? There's tons of designs and different LED options he can do. I can link you up with him directly.

What are the dimensions of the theater room (width, height and length)
The length is 19, width is 16 and the height is around 8.5 now with the bulk head I added on (star light and pot lights) but really it was 9 feet high (the entire basement)

Hi there! The room size is 19 x 16ft with 8.5ft. high ceilings. The total space of the basement is just under 3000 sq.ft

Hi Silas, The Theater room alone was a DIY projector. I spent around 25K on the speakers I think. Somewhere around that including all the wiring and everything in thr AV Rack etc. So tip! Don't hire anyone they will just charge double. We had great help from our electrician too! And Thank you! Good luck to you and the wife if you ner any help please let me know I will try to answer any questions:)
I am still deciding between 100 inch TV or a 120-inch projector for my room. What is your distance to the screen from the seats? My room is 12x15ft, on the east side of the house and only has one window that is way too small for normal living space (IMO). So I might as well embrace the darkness and turn it into a theater :)
If its dark.... then def Projector! But if you have any windows etc and watch a lot of TV then I don't recommend a projector at all! Or you can always do both. Lol. My future plan is to have a drop down projector screen and mount a large 100" or larger TV for everyday TV :)

Hey buddy the speakers and stuff were around 25 CAD. The rest of the basement was way more then that but again I had to get a lot of electrical work done such as pot lights ..sub panels. It was a giant unfinished basement with no plumbing or electric work at all.
