Was lucky enough to hang out with Ralphie a few months before he passed. He is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Being from Arkansas and being a Hog fan myself we had a lot to talk about! Never enough time. I wish he could see the Hogs play this year, he would be proud. RIP Ralphie May! Go Hogs!

I’m originally from Los Angeles....I moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas and seen how dedicated these fans are. I’ve been to a few games and loved it, even though I’m a USC fan...them hogs are awesome
No it’s not.
Taylor Turensky well some parts I was over off of Faulkner Lake Rd. Going towards Scott, wasn’t really that bad. But some areas oh yeah they were 😂
Holy cow. Moving to north Little Rock must’ve been a huge differenve
Eliot Simpson major culture shock 😂
Taylor Turensky oh snap I got some home boys from Cabot....we went there to Mean Pig and tried that Shut Up Juice Challenge

Ah damn. I didn't know he passed. I also didn't know he was a Hog fan! I live about 10 miles from the field and Bud Walton Arena (the house that Nolan built.) WPS go Hogs! Ralphie, I only knew for a year. Thanks for all the laughs! Rest in peace.
Thank you Ralphie, Rest in peace and from one Arkansan to another, go Hogs!
@@paulwhite5840 Yup, it's sadly very true! He died October 6th. of 2017. The official official cause of death was heart failure, however some news articles will tell you it was pnemonia which he did have a battle with a few months before his death but at that time did not succumb to it!!!
RIP big man. Know we carry it on and it will always be
Rest in peace Mr May
Born and raised on Razorbacks football!!! I may live in Missouri but my ❤️ belongs to Arkansas!!! Born in Little Rock!!!
Just remember Miss Lisa, You can take the Girl out of Arkansas , but You can NEVER take Arkansas out of the Girl!!!! A natural born Hog here:) SOOOOOOOOOOIE PIG !!! RAZORBACKS :)
RIP Ralphie. It was an honor to know you and Go Hogs!!!
Go hogs!
And this is why nothing compares to college football/basketball...best sports to bring people together. Love my razorbacks. Well deserved win last night!!
Miss you my friend. The stories. The late nights. The laughs in vegas. Best years of my life.
Thanks for the memories Ralphie!
I love this, I’m a Razorback fan through and through. My dad was in the Air Force and if this tells you anything, you can always tell when someone was from Arkansas. They have a hog on their plane. We wear it like a badge and could careless what others say or think. It’s who we are and no matter where we go it’s a little piece of home.
About a year or so before Ralphie died I had heard from a co worker he was in town (hot springs Arkansas) at the time 22 caliber ammo was really hard to find because there was a huge shortage and you had to like check every Walmart just to find any. Anyway I was in the sporting goods section on the Albert pike Walmart and was actually shopping for some fishing jigs and carp bait when all of a sudden I hear the worlds most distinctive voice say y’all got any 22 long rifle shells in stock and I looked over and at the cash register was Ralphie freaking May. They actually had some that day it was Remington 50 round boxes for like $2.59 and the limit was three boxes and my man said I just need one for today leave the other two for someone else. Not only did I see one of my personal hero’s in the flesh but I also realized he was a better person than 90 percent of people including me. Because I went over and bought my limit after him and called my girl from the car and she bought her limit too. The cashier was as dumbfounded as me that it was really him he actually had id’d him as he looked under 40 I first asked him if that was Ralphie May or was I nuts and he said yes it was and that he couldn’t believe it either. Rest easy brother you were a class act and your lucky you don’t have to be here during this virus/ destruction of our southern heritage just up there drinking with Cash and Conway and the best of them!
Ralphie apparently predicted what he called, "The Great Sickness". I miss him every day. i really took him for granted.
Now the shortage is nine millimeter. Lesson here.
great story
@@johnh.365 i think you mean "everything"
Thank you for sharing your story; that was very considerate of him. You totally had me-until you said “the destruction of our Southern heritage.” I’m not completely sure how you personally would define that, but when I’ve typically heard someone say that and heard their definition, it makes me very uncomfortable, at best.
(And yeah, I’m a lifetime Arkansan from an old Southern family.)
Rest easy big man ❤️
Ralphie was/is such a beautiful soul. I can’t believe I’m just now seeing this clip. You brought us so much joy, RIP.
As a Razorback fan this is beautiful
R.I.P May love you man
We all need ralphie in this rough time.
I was lucky to see in preform in Fayetteville on a Saturday night. RIL sir!
Makes me miss him even more
Rest in peace MR. MAY thank u for all the laughs
This has more enthusiasm than the last dance
RIP Ralphie May. Go Hogs.
Years ago I managed a restaurant that Scotty Thurman used to frequent. First time I took his order, he ate, and asked for the check I said it was on the house-then mimed his jump shot to illustrate why it was free. I bet that happened a lot! What a memory as a hog fan...
Damn! If Only He Still Alive Today, He'll Be Cracking A Lot Of Jokes.
R.I.P Big Guy
wish you were here Ralphie we are on the way back
I was conceived at a Razorback stadium.
It was the 70’s. 😂
At least someone recognizes Arkansas and we're not completely invisible to more than everyone.
Ralphie was the best
WOOOO PIG!!!! GO HOGS!!🐗🐗🇺🇸❤🇺🇸
Go hogs!
Damn we really need him today
R.I.P.
Now if we could only win a conference game...
Try winning a non-conference game first.
I guess that would be a good starting place, lol.
@@johnholt3314 xD I'm just giving you crap, I'm a Hilltopper
Joshua Smith roll bears then lol
@@brennancarter3792 That was a necessary wakeup call after a terrible coach for 2 years lol so thank you bears
NEVER CLICKED SO FUCKIN FAST IMMA ARKANSAS BOY N I LOVE MY HOGS
Rest in Hog heaven brother!
RIP brother - thanks for all the laughs and this video is why I LOVE Ralphie May. He's one of us.
Now when I say us, make no mistake about it, I'm from Oklahoma and the Sooners will kick the shit out of the Razorbacks anytime anywhere. And yeah it's kinda a dick move to talk shit on his team while he's not here to defend them but this way, it's a fair fight. hahaha he'd destroy me if he were alive. And when I say he is "One of us" I mean us as in south central USA!! Where we dodge 'nados and li'nin all summer long and our beach is that dirt next to the lake.
Orange Bowl 31-6.
Miss you bubba!
How about that Arkansas baseball that stuff is good
Arkansas Razorback born and raised was a freshman at the U of Arkansas in 1993-1994. Wish I had gotten to meet Ralphie. Sadly, Arkansas sports are at an all-time low. Part of me is glad Ralphie didn't live to see how bad the teams have been.
Hey, I know we are down, but look.
We still have the OmaHogs, and the Muss Buss is purring along nice and smooth.
Now if we can just get a couple conference wins from from the PittCrew, and maybe even a bowl game in three years, football will be back before you know it.
We arent dead yet my man.
WooPig!!!
GoHogsGo!!!
I know the comment was 3 months ago but Ralphie would love the rowdy defense we have now
I was a freshman at Hendrix that year- obviously we’re not a big sports school-no sports scholarships, you don’t go there mainly to play a sport, you go there for the academics-and of course pretty much everyone there are huge Razorbacks fans. That night in March ‘94 during the playoffs, and especially the championship game, we were all glued to the TVs, all over campus. And when AR won the national championship that night, our little campus absolutely ERUPTED. I’m sure other schools did too, all over Arkansas. ❤️
I’m a Razorbacks fan from birth-not just because of being born and raised here, but my 80 yr old mother AND her mother were both U of A grads. (Classes of 1963 and 1933.) Even if I didn’t know the Razorbacks were currently on TV (football or basketball), I would automatically know, because of all the screaming at the TV coming from Mom in another room! 😆
Woo Pig Soooie!!! Razorbacks!!! ❤️
King Ralphie. I wonder if he was a descendant of Gene May who was on the Mayflower 1620 circa
It's either your all the way in or u dont really understand. GOHOGGSGO
Being an Arkansas fan killed Ralphie
RiP Ralphie. We miss you
Couldn't have possibly had anything to do with his weight and health issues....
Man I miss Ralphie. Wooo pig 😢
I live across the street from where he’s buried
Wps!!!

That's not completely true we have some black people on the field.

"Some"
@@demetriharlan5887 demetri there just aren't alot of black people in Northwest Arkansas.

Got it.
Remember when razorbacks was good
Arkansas will get back there soon enough with this coaching staff. Sam Pittman has done a tremendous job so far with such an immediate turnaround. Given the fact that we play the toughest schedule in the history of college football this year, and should rightfully 4-4 or 5-3 if not for the Marc Curles screwjobs (Auburn & LSU), I'd say we're already 'good' again now as we SHOULD be Top-25.
Arkansas football program has been garbage since joining the SEC. they’re a complete dumpster fire now!! Basketball hasn’t been good since Nolan era.
just wait james...muss has a monster class comin....we are gonna make A LOT of noise in basketball...you watch!
"Garbage?" No, not hardly. Certainly, we weren't ready for the rigors of the SEC as our football program was in a coaching transition at the same time we entered the conference. But we won the west our 4th year in the SEC, and have won it twice since. We've also had several top 25 finishes since joining the SEC. Now you're right about basketball, but that can be laid at the feet of then-chancellor John White, who forced us to use a committee to hire Nolan's replacement. Frank Broyles (our AD at the time) had already secured Bill Self as Nolan's replacement, but White wrecked our basketball program with his meddling. We've been reeling ever since. But that's about to change.
Jason Piker Winning the Wear isn’t winning the SEC. Arkansas never has and never will win an SEC championship. They lack the talent and coaching. They belong in a conference they have a chance to win.
@@jamessimpson2492 you said our program has been "garbage" (that's the word you used), and I simply pointed out the fallacy in your assessment. There are several teams in the conference who haven't won an SECC, so why aren't you opining that they should go somewhere else? Arkansas is right where it wants to be, and we aren't going anywhere.
Jason Piker Arkansas will continue to be a less than mediocre team in the conference. Like I said, they never have and never will win the conference. Only the ignorant and delusional fans think they will.
Just a friendly reminder. In 2005 and 2006 USC scored 100 points in 102 minutes vs Arkansas.
@Taylor Turensky You obviously do, so allow me to elaborate...
2:34 USC TD - 7-0
3:54 Arkansas TD - 7-7
4:07 USC TD - 14-7
5:04 USC TD - 21-7
10:14 USC TD - 28-7
16:38 Arkansas FG - 28-10
23:51 USC TD - 35-10
27:19 USC TD - 42-10
31:34 USC TD - 49-10
38:32 USC TD - 56-10
45:36 USC TD - 63-10
49:02 Arkansas TD - 63-17
58:35 USC TD - 70-17
64:36 USC FG - 73-17
76:48 USC TD - 80-17
82:19 USC FG - 83-17
87:37 Arkansas TD - 83-24
90:00 USC FG - 86-17
95:36 USC TD - 94-17
102:05 USC TD - 100-17
Overall USC scored 114 Points in 120 Minutes over 2 games vs Arkansas. Or Better Yet, in 2 games vs USC, 120 Minutes, Arkansas scored 34 Points, USC scored 35 Points in 23 Minutes and 51 Seconds. In 5 games vs Arkansas USC has averaged 35 Points a Game, Arkansas has never scored more than 22 points vs USC.
You want to know the most Hilarious thing?? USC is 4-1 vs Arkansas, that one loss? 1974 the year USC won a National Title, Arkansas would finish 6-4-1.
You do know the 2005 USC season went down as every game lost...
With an arkansan as the USC head coach
Fight on for Ol SC! ✌🏽
Just a friendly reminder that USC had a payroll that was the envy of NFL organizations everywhere. You should be real proud that a team full of professional athletes managed to beat a team coached by the incompetence of Houston Nutt.
