      I have strained a deep muscle which hurts every time I lift my leg. Will these exercises help that?

      I had major surgery done on my femur by putting a plate pin and screws attached to the femur at 16 years of age. I’m now 69. My weakness is on my right side. I’m wondering if maybe all my problems is because of the major scar tissue which I have been treating with a red laser twice a week and adjustments. I have major sciatica and my muscles start jumping around or jerking and in a way particularly at night, wondering what to do. My pain is on my right side. I stretch every day, yet little or no improvement, after years of trying everything. The plate pin and screws were taken out after my bone healed. Thank you.

      Actually I was feeling pain in my whole lower back from one month but the most stiff part at the time of streching is inside my left hip close to my last vertebrate,so should I focus more on lower back rehab or on hip exercise??

      I've had hip pain on my right side for about two weeks. Mainly when I get up in the morning. Pretty uncomfortable. I tried a lot of things but nothing helped. I was already thinking about seeing an orthopedist. This morning I drank a glass of ginger juice and after a few minutes the pain went away.

    holy miracle! I've had upper hip pain on one side for the past few weeks and i stumbled upon this video.. did the exercises... I don't know if it's psychological but i felt immediate relief and able to walk normally again almost immediately! I just needed to do the proper stretches as such like in this video. I thought previously i might needed a hip replacement or something because i was slightly limping due to the pain plus having just an awful year so far so my body was shutting down.... but i am only 47! Thank God no hip replacement not yet. Thank you Dr. R! (Sorry for sounding a bit dramatic i'm just very happy right now)

    10:33 this is what helped me fix my hip cramp quickly. I literally couldn't smile or even have a hiccup for two days! I tried everything even from your other video and suggestion from other physiotherapist and it hit the spot.

    Oh my goodness, these WORK!!! Thank you SO much! I was sooo stuff and having awful hip pain. I found your exercises and literally within minutes my hips and lower back no longer felt locked!!!!I managed a lovely long walk the same day. I had found it hard to get out of bed that morning! I have subscribed and will be doing the maintenance exercises to strengthen religiously now. Thank you

    Very helpful. Been having trouble with my hips for the last few years. These exercises and stretches really seem to help. I really appreciate the work you do because it's not uncommon for people to get injured... which is going to happen pretty much no matter what you do, or don't do... and then because moving hurts so much they just stop moving. And that leads to an assortment of problems in, and of itself. You teach what to do when you're injured to get back to moving and to reduce the chances of reinjury. You provide a path to getting back to and continuing to move. Here in the US, where I live, I think that's one of the problems with the configuration of our medical system. Perhaps I'm a bit cynical, but maybe it's more profitable in a pay-to-play for-profit system to treat people when they become really sick instead of keeping them from becoming really sick in the first place.

    After 4 years of pain, trips to physiotherapy and chiropractors i think these exercises are going to fix my hip pain. I was up most of the night with throbbing hip. After doing those exercises my hip pain has all but gone. Thank you so much for your free content. I feel so happy that i am going to be pain free at last 😊

    I'm doing physio for like 8 months and I had to stop sport for 3 month because my right hip was hurting so muchhh ! Now with this exercice my hips was relievied in less 10 minutes.I'm 25 years old and I felt like a 89 years grandma. Walking, sleeping etc... all this basics stuff was painful. Thank you Doctor !!     Really useful video. I wish I had found this earlier. I have had a problem with my right hip flexor on and off for 2 yrs. The latest episode started 2 wks ago for no particular reason and today I have been back to my exercise class. Really worked quickly. I'm doing the best exercises every day and working through the rest during the week. Lets hope this is the last time. I plan to keep it going for at least 1 year.

      I also wanted to say I get so much pain relief from any of these exercises. After spending hundreds at one of the (not going to mention the name brand) " trigger point therapy" locations and doing all of the homework exercises with NO RELIEF I gave up on that place and Doctor.     These exercises help a lot so far.
    I dont how I got it. But for a few years now I've had on and off on the entire right side of body. Seemingly originating from the hip since I'm able to pop it.

    Hey Doc, Thanks for the stretches. I have been having this pain on the right side from my back through my butt down into my right leg for like a month now. I will try anything to help with this pain. I'm a mom of 2, and this pain is not cutting it. I do have two herniated discs and two protruding discs already. About a month ago, I knew I turned the wrong way, and ever since then, straight pain on my right side. I'm going to try your exercises and hope that they work. Fingers crossed! 🤞

    Broke or fractured both hips a few years ago in a car accident. Either side of my hips hurts pretty bad if I lay down or sit for too long. The thing that helps me the absolute most are hip bridges. 10 of them all my pain is gone. Have to do surgery one day I’m sure, but it is amazing how well that one stretch works.
    A huge thank you to the personal trainer at Planet Fitness. Saved me a lot of money.

    I realize that I am approaching some of your best work.

    I have been having pain in my front right leg/hip joint that buckles me out of nowhere when I am walking. My mother believes it's my hip so I Googled what I can do at home to mend my hip and came across your video.
    While none of the comments I have read describe the same symptoms as mine, I am going to try these exercises and report back! 😉

      I have the very same symptoms. Left leg buckles easily especially stepping down one step out of my front door or even crossing the road.
      Left thigh and hip area burning pain.
      Seeing physiotherapist today

    Despite being a young teenager, Im someone who actively does martial arts that mainly revolves around kicking, And there are times where I wouldnt stretch before kicking thus my painful backhip pain. Thanks.
