A narcissist asks intrusive questions and you feel cornered to have to answer because you don’t want to be rude. It felt liberating for me to watch a Jewish person I respect in this situation say “What’s it to ya?” They refused to answer. It’s okay to feel the discomfort of feeling rude and not say anything or say the above. They are the rude ones.
this is very true when i was on probation in the uk which is narcissistic organization
they asked me if i was single then followed it thourgh with have you had any sex in that time
that question was totally uncalled for it noting in relation to my offence so i shouldnt have been asked it

Thank you for this video. It took me a while to realize how over explaining myself is a complete waste of energy . Most likely they are looking for a reaction , so in their mind they feel like they achieved getting you off balance emotionally.

Another characteristic where the typical narc and codependents are two sides of the same coin: guilt. The codependent feels it so quickly and always questions themselves, whereas the narc is the opposite - never feels guilty for their actions and refuses to question themselves. The coin itself, the thing they both have in common, might be - shame. The deep inside belief of being wrong, which they both handle completely diffently
Michelle, I just wanted to say thank you for posting these videos. I've been living with a nsrsasustic spouse for a very long time. Unfortunately we are married with kids, so I'm trying to manage and reduce her abuse towards me and our three children.

1:09 Well, listening to you with close attention ma'am In summary my boss, my mother or any kind of narcissist person is so "unhappy or bitter" with his/her life that all their personal unhappiness or frustration they want to put it on me, the best way to deal with this persons in my life is or avoid them the best I can or stay away from them the best I can by all means, yep that is truth what you say, you lose self-esteem, feel nerves all the time and I feel like walking on eggshells, thanks for your tremendous advice ma'am, greetings from Virginia, The United States of America.

once you strat waking up to this fake arse world they start hosting through people you know to try and take you off your path

My mom has NPD, but she over explains. We can be at the drive-thru of a restaurant, and they do the suggestive selling. We know it's just a part of their job and something they have to do. It isn't that deep. Instead of her just saying no, no thank you, or whatever the case, maybe. She will be like no I better not because I'm diabetic, or no, I don't have the extra money for that right now." That is just a couple of examples of how she operate/respond. It's funny that I never noticed that about her before. I'm glad that the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to narcissistic personality disorder, also known as the Jezebel spirit. And gave me insight on how that spirit function/operate, or I still wouldn't have a clue. I was oblivious to how dysfunctional this family is. Quite a few are aware of what is going on but they, of course, don't truly want to acknowledge their own flaws and shortcomings. They would rather just argue, fuss, fight, blame one another, gossip, and backbite.

In tears atm I'm on my own got narcs left right n center in my life it's always been the same and I have severe panic disorder n acute anxiety bcoz I'm always HAVING to defend myself by myself no back up or anyone got my bck fighting for/with me in my corner it makes me feel depressed and occasionally suicidal why do i ALWAYS get scapegoated and bullied why?!!

He uses manipulation between family member and had me put out the house he had conditioned my son to hide from me, buys him little treats, uses drugs than blames you for using drugs uses triangulation to separate all family members.

I just stumbled on this channel. My concern is to protect my daughter (still a toddler) from her mother who is a covert narcissist. I have to "parallel parent" and am concerned about the emotional and psychological impact on my daughter. The mother has no feelings or empathy to her children, only an obsessive need to control. Do you have anything on this topic?
yeah nobody goes as deep as you on talking about nervous system and subconcious. you are very correct but by having such knowledge im pretty surprised that you believe in ANY person's ability to change
ive been to 2 treatment centers and before that was in years of therapy(had like 10 therapists) and looking back it didnt help me,i didnt get any tools,and nothing changed.and if it did it's bcz of extreme pain and so my nervous system had to change something to not experience this again.but so many things engraned in childhood for everyone that ppl are so delusional which makes me hate them so much about one's ability to change.let alone when ppl try to change others.ppl are so crazy and this world is disgusting.who ever experienced deep deep pain would billion percent agree with me.and those who dont are just lucky
