Maybe i'm missing something here, but it looks a bit too grainy. Like wet sand rather than snow.
yeah they probably need to incorporate heat and melting data. for it to have realistic clumping.
A large part of that is probably just how it's being rendered, as opposed to the actual simulation.
@@somdudewillson That's a fair point.
Seems to act more like powdered sugar TBH, but it's really impressive nonetheless!
1:33 - A stylistic representation of me going through hardships in life and then how I've dealt with them
amazing results!

"So how much cocaine have you done in your life charlie?"Charlie Sheen: 1:33
beautifully beautiful
what hardware was used in each simulation? is this light?
16-core 3.1 GHz Intel Xeon E5-2687Wsee cg.informatik.uni-freiburg.de/publications/2020_SIGGRAPH_snow.pdf
I dont think that snow consists from metaballs, it must be separated particles.
This is very good and realistic, but something in the very back of my head is telling me something is off.
probably has more to do with the rendering itself and not the physics sim.
I think it could do with something about global illumination or lighting
These are awesome
Very realistic!
Damn, I watched the whole video then noticed the video was muted.
自愧不如。
1:44 lmao that landing
Looks bad. Looks more like styrofoam.
this is just sad this is terrible
This is terrible. 2020?
