i love how he answers the questions with the same warmth and laughter now as he did then. Its nice to see that he stays the same in light of more experience and fame.
I watched the film two days ago for the first time. I knew the death was coming because I had seen part of the movie on CZcams before, but it was still impactful...I'm still getting over it. I can only imagine the pain I would feel if I found myself in the same situation as Jesse. That part of the film is VERY well executed.
+Sandeep patel I know. I don't know exactly how this part of the story is written in the novel, but I'm just saying that impact of Leslie's death is very effectively portrayed in the movie. It can really affect the audience powerfully because the last scene between Jess and Leslie ends with high hopes and expectations for their future interactions, and NO closure whatsoever, so that when Leslie's death is revealed, you can suddenly find yourself wishing that their friendship had continued longer - even just A BIT longer - but no, their last words to each other are a simple and casual "see ya" and your hopes for them are permanently dashed and cancelled, never to come to fruition. Plus, they can never so much as speak to each other again, denying Jess (and the audience) a meaningful sense of resolution. This is what the filmmakers (and probably the author as well) did excellently. It can provoke you to genuinely feel like you've lost your closest friend. I actually have a copy of the book, fortunately. After seeing the movie, I vaguely remembered coming across a copy of the book in my house 2 or 3 times over the years. I looked again and found it. I haven't got around to reading it yet, but I will surely start this week.
It was a sad ending i cried can't forget this is my childhood movies and i really love it also the chemistry and the acting skill is perfect thanks for making my childhood be remembered by this movie💕💕

My mom had to take the teacher aside and tell her my friend had died years back. But on the upside the book didn't bring back any bad memories, I love the book. I am a fan of Josh.
