You obviously have some misconceptions. English is not your native language probably.
A mercenary is someone who fights because of the money not for the cause. War is simply an opportunity to make money so they are basically employees who may fight for different employers depending on the pay. They are hired. They don't join or enlist.
Even regular soldiers who enlist in a military are paid but you don't call them mercenaries. They don't switch employers even if another military pays more.
A volunteer who fights because he believes in the cause is not a mercenary either because the money is not the focus. The cause is what they are fighting for.
How can you tell?
They usually gave up a regular civilian or military job they leave behind in order to fight.
And usually mercenaries get paid A LOT OF MONEY compared to regular soldiers. Because it is just another job that is dangerous but pays well to compensate for the risk.
Volunteers may or may not be paid some money as an allowance but often they are actually out of money because they have to make their own way to join.
Everyone has used mercenaries throughout history we used them in Iraq and Afghanistan we just call the security contractors.

We talked about the for years before this. Thousands demanded they be put to trial for their innocent killings in Iraq and Afghanistan, but we've as a whole been highly resistant to convicting them since they were in charge of protecting their presidents who we were having alot of trouble keeping safe
Black water has been in conflict with Russian Wagners, but the globe generally loves those stories because the black waters are almost always on the defense 1-5 and try going diplomatic routes and when the wagners don't seize aggression they die in literal droves during advances against them

What kind of nonsense is this presenter talking about? Chechnya is a republic of Russia and the Chechen military is also part of the Russian army, but on a volunteer basis. Previously, Chechens could not join the army, but in 2014 the restrictions were lifted. Now there are Chechens in the Russian army , but there is also a separate special forces and the Russian Guard based in the Republic of Chechnya itself.

Another example is US asked Poland to deliver 30 Mig29 to Ukraine knowing full well Poland would be dragged to be a part of the War. When Poland said it will deliver the planes to US airbase in Germany and US deliver the planes themselves. US declined to do so as didn't want to be part of the War But prefer Poland instead.

It's because the Azov Battalion doesn't exist. It was absorbed into the main defense force of Ukriane to remove its identity long ago, and why don't you guys mention Zelenksky was voted in at Ukriane hoping the Azovs and Chechens (you guys used the Chechens too and complained about them too until your own were sent in) would be dismissed and the Russian ethnic discrimination would come to a end.

Mercenaries has a limitation. People for hire do expect to survive and use their money to live for. They know there are a risk but if the risk increases they demad more money. So ultimately they will be to expensive. Low risk countries as CAR, Libya and Syria can do but Donbas with an increasingly effective Ukranian army is different. And untill now the chechens does not have shown much.
