Castelius III was pprovably chosen because (if i remember correctly) there wasn't really any highly important tough yokai in the story, and they wanted someone easy to get that was not obtained trough the story like darumacho
Elder Bloom's ideal world is a pretty nuance take on that concept. Rather than just being full on perfect, with only changes being that earth is being changed for the better and humans being more willing to help it, there are still negative human aspects (like urges to cause troble and insecurities), but even then, that is an ideal world. Basically: The world may become ideal, but not those who live in it.
One thing I’d like to point out for one of the Poofessor requirements is that Cuttincheez might not entirely represent farting, but also might represent generally smelling bad, since from “lore” that’s what Cuttincheez does, and Cheeksqueak is the farting mf.

I believe that the reason for Dandoodle and Tattlecast being required for yo kai watch 2 for dandoodle was because you have to choose between manjimutt, tattletell, and roughraff at the beggining of the game. To my knowledge the cant be obtained anywhere else.
I have an idea:the yokai required to unlock Poofessor in ykw2 represent childish things and MAYBE the yokai required to unlock him in ykw3 represent things that kids may get during puberty and teenagehood(bad smell, depression, HAIRS)
Ykw3 having a different legend for each version makes sense, but the way ykw2 did it doesn't. For some reason, you can obtain all the legends in each version except specifically Komashura (as you mentioned) and Poofessor. They have no relation. So just, why them?
I think its castellius for shogunyan since he looks like an old japanese castle back when they had shogun warriors or something like that
