We ran VMware at my last job for the host cluster and managed it with Vcenter and it was great exposure but this makes me wanna make up a host w spare parts I’ve got lying around and throw together a little home server! I have a question: What will be a scalable equipment to install the ESXi if I am not planning to host not more than 4 virtual machines for testing, one Linux Server, MS Server, Windows 11 or a Windows 10. They are not going to have a lot of traffic, it is for testing apps at home.

just FYI, the memory is running in single channel mode. For dual channel you populate A2 and B2 first. Board is more or less a rebranded B360M Pro4
