Could not get it to take my Wi-Fi password plugged it in wired which works okay to get to my EG4 6000xp inverter it has a Wi-Fi dongle. Waiting on my JK BMS RS485 USB adaptor to show up I really will need wireless then. That is my problem having to use the Bluetooth app on my phone look at the BMS. 90% of the time I'm checking my BMS see what is going on at the battery level.

I am actually using a Renogy setup with their One Core monitor. The thing I like about it is that I can change setting of my Inverter, charge controller, etc remotely.

Cannot get past using my phone. Face ID is a bad idea as you could be out cold and a mugger can steal your crypto.

As you worked out eventually, it was end user error, not Unifi. Also, the reason you still couldn’t SSH into the gateway is because it hadn’t been adopted.

I finally pulled the trigger on setting up a brand new mini pc to run a node and solo mine my Bitmain KS3. Latest KDX version humming right along with 100% sync. My ks bridge is also running right along fine. My miner WILL NOT connect to it. I have the proper IP address in my bridge YAML as well as my miner stratum address. I have also went as far as port forwarding 5555 on a second router just to try and narrow all that out. All the videos and tutorials I have found are Ice River. Does anyone have any insight on this setup or a tutorial you can link me too? TIA for anyone that might be able to help.

I wouldn't mind seeing a tutorial on setting one of these up on a Raspberry Pi. My RPi-5 is probably 5x more powerful with ridiculously better RAM/CPU/Storage then my actual PC, its so old it still has a 3-1/2' floppy drive on it 😅😢😪😒

luck is luck. unless you have high latency (> 100ms to your solo pool) I always recommend mining to your own node though.

Of all my home miners, the Evergreen farm has turned out to be the worst disappointment. I was an early adopter, based partially on my naivete and largely on the shilling of a number of CZcamsrs (ahem Vosk). I paid about $700 for my 30TB stack and based on current XCH pricing and the elementary compression that those early Evergreen farms received...well, let's just say I probably won't live long enough to see ROI, leave alone profitability. Avoid at all costs. You're better off with practically anything else.

why buy synology though when you can use an old generic low power pc, shove it full of hard drives and install truenas scale though? and if you need to expand, so long as you have enough ram, you can just drop an external hba in it and pick up a cheap sas2 jbod and start shoving drives in that 6-8 at a time...
