Im pretty sure thats what caused his heart attack. He had 3 other heart attacks in the show every time probally the show teasing his death but he ended up being fine.
If he got even a slight infection from the vasectomy, it would have caused him to have a heart attack from his already COMPROMISED damaged heart condition. If he was in good shape, antibiotics would have knocked the infection out quick. I knew someone with only 25% of his heart working. He caught a cold and it killed him. He was on borrowed time.
The doctor at the hospital might have mentioned it to Mary. It would have been a shock to her.
A vasectomy is a fast an easy procedure. When women get their "tubes tied" it's major surgery under anesthesia a time in the hospital.

Having the death off screen is one thing, but If the show was so cowardly as to make George's death caused by a vasectomy complication, That's just doing the character dirty.
They said it was a heart attack.
The show never said he died because of the vasectomy. He died after a heart attack at work
Everytime a person survives a heart attack, the heart is a more damaged. A person who had 3 heart attacks is hanging by a thread.

They've been punting the ball for a while now. Good time to end the series.
Its sad that they have to do it because of TBBT. I think it would be better to end series with George alive, this show supposed to be fun not sad.
