I would just say: Woman, Chill. To be frank I understand why sheldon kinda hates Religion as a whole, I lived in a household like this and it's not... fun. It's actually so damn sad, because you just grow up and the more you study and learn about things the more you see how toxic it becomes.
Yup. That's my problem with this show. Almost all the men are good characters and almost all the women are bad characters. Women in real life will say that I'm sexist for saying that, but it's not sexism if it's the truth. Women need to behave equal to men if they want to be seen that way
I always thought one of Mary’s biggest problems was she always felt she had more of a say than she actually did. I get where opinions are formed from a perspective of Faith but Mary always overstepped with the family by pushing her values onto them and forcing them. She really doesn’t get a say when two people get married, how they will raise their own child, etc. Yet she acts like she is entitled to it, always bugged me
They always make Christians on TV that way. If you think about it did you ever see a Christian portrayed as nice, fun, understanding, smart, & a wonderful person, & not some kind of nut or hypocrite? They exist, just not on TV or movies!
I get that and sometimes the way she went about it could have been better but at the same time when someone is living rent free in your house you do have a sin if they do things you don't agree with that you consider sinful and you have other kids to worry about. I used to live with my in laws before we got married and her rule was in slept in separate rooms, it was her house, her rules and I think that's reasonable. It's entitled to think you can live off of someone's hard earned money and not follow any of their rules or respect their beliefs.
I mean tbf they live in her house rent free, so I would argue she does get at least some say in their behavior at the house. Though I agree she’s overstepping those bounds lol
@@sandyjuntunen4088 i actually find the portrayal rather accurate. christians have an insufferable entitlement attitude when it comes to moral positions. they repeatedly forger that morals are determined by the individual, and them alone. only thing that can override this is the law, which governs everyone.
