You're truly talented at art! It is *wonderful* and would definitely sell! But I implore you to learn picture framing sometime at a workshop, cuz frames are so costly to buy. Remember your pottery classes with Anna? How well you did? Next should be framing art. Photography, too. Because it's all income, always needed! Wow, 1) your art is so lovely and I admire your water colour skills greatly. My friend and I used to bring similar portable sets to yours to uni and lay around in the grass after classes, doing pen and watercolour pieces for hours. Watching you do this brings back good memories :)
2) I’m so happy for you Eliza with that new canopy! Also had to laugh at her laying in the dirt while you finished your art outside, with her head resting on a rock. This is exactly what my greyhound does - she’s obsessed with laying in the dirt! Glad my dog isn’t the only dusty one around 😆
3) I feel like I haven’t said this enough but your editing style is both soothing and beautiful to look at.

You are so talented! I love your drawings and watercolors. Do you have a website to share your art with others, or maybe sell some of your art you don’t plan to keep in your personal collection? Have you tried painting on objects like wood or rocks? I LOVED LOVED LOVED this video Maddie! Perhaps your eyes were tired from the close artwork? The Moon shade is certainly appealing.

WOW, thts absolutely AMAZING. I wish I was artistic, unfortunately I can’t even draw a stick man, LOL. My lil guy would go completely bonkers if he seen this drawing! He LOVES lizards & frogs so very much. Him being autistic, these things he finds so much joy in finding them, and it just makes me so very happy to see his face when he does find them. Van life seems like the perfect environment for artwork. You are very talented! I have a picture that I drew of a bird on a branch when I was a teenager. I found the bird picture in a magazine, and when I was finished, I was so pleased with it that I put it in a frame and still have it. This video has reminded me to start drawing again when I get on the road. Your videos are well done!

Very nice….two of my favorite mediums; pen and ink and watercolor. I often will combine them in a piece of artwork too….watercolor has always been my favorite way to paint…it’s much harder to control than other painting mediums and you have to plan more before laying down paint, but that’s part of the fun of it…sometimes the paint will flow where it wants to go and i like blending/mixing colors right on the paper and do wet in wet paintings ….and so many times there’s kind of a surprise when the piece takes a different turn than you started , but it still turns out beautiful. I also like to paint wildlife and plants and flowers and many times i don’t use a reference photo at all and just start with paint and no pre drawing….oh my, listen to me getting all excited talking about painting….lol. You are very talented and have a nice style….keep it up and start selling or making prints and selling those…if you are not already….nice way to share your talent and make some extra cash from something you love doing.

Im an artist too but like you other priorities have taken place and my art is on the back burner. I do art in watercolor, acrylics, and charcoal.
WHEN YOU SPOKE OF USING PENCIL, IT MADE ME THINK OF RED SKELOTON ( A COMEDIAN, ACTOR & ARTIST) HE ALSO DID A LOT OF PENCIL DRAWINGS, MY X WIFE SHOULD STILL HAVE A FEW OF HIS ORIGINALS. YOURS ARE BEAUTIFUL. (CHIC'S RULE).

I love that you educate us all about the different wildflowers and cactus names etc... you need to start a business where you take vanlifers on excursions to educate them during walks and hikes. In general you’d make a great teacher!

Hi miss Maddie ,I seen you on another u tube channel (Anna) and was stunned by you ,because you didn’t look like a van life person ,I went to your very first video where you started your build and the more I watch the more I was hooked ,the first thinks first I would put a camera on the outside of the van or get a baby camera would could keep that inside and watch the screen with out getting up ,second your paintings are beautiful you should sell them ,and those snakes you can keep lol,and last but not less ,your videos are great I just finished watching all of them can’t wait t see more thank you for them 💜

Oh how I relate to the recording issues. My biggest issue around here is the wind. I record outside then give up and move inside and then some days you still here the wind inside. People must think I never leave my van but I do it is just SO WINDY!! Then I will hit record and it is like my mind shuts off.

What Beautiful Art! If you are like me it's important to allow that creativity to flow from you whether by camera, canvas, sketchbook or notebook. I'm from a multi-generational creative & artistic family. Even my 13 yr old great-granddaughter sells her art online and we all encourage that enthusiasm and the self confidence that it builds. My alone time is important for those things in my life too...as I'm guessing from your videos you do find time to do the same...whatever the craft.

I'm in Southern Utah as well. I'm more of a Beach Gal, but I always try and see the Beauty in all things and landscapes. Your art is beautiful!! I could never do that! You have "command of all three. The visual skills are essentially your artistic eyes. But the narration storytelling is not very natural to artistic folks but you have the package. I've become a devoted follower...thanks for the gifts you share.

Good Morning, Maddie! So nice to see you so early.You really are a talented. I dont have the patience myself to do that level of detail of drawing as you. I spent most of my life as an engineer, drawing electrical schematics is about the extent of my drawing interests. Now, retired, I've taken up carpentry and of course any good project starts off with a good sketch. You have such an introspective nature that makes you perfect for this phase of your life on the road. Enjoy your day!
