- In the heart of Chuka town, nestled among the rolling hills of Kenya, a significant milestone in healthcare has been achieved. This is the story of the transformation of Chuka Level 4 Hospital into a level 5 hospital, marked by the construction of a state-of-the-art outpatient block.
Join us as we delve into the journey that has brought specialized services like renal treatment, radiology, and a new maternity wing to this once humble healthcare facility. This documentary showcases the remarkable progress made since the devolution of health services to the county governments, following Kenya's new constitution.
In 2010, Kenya embarked on a bold path of decentralizing power and resources, transferring control over key sectors, including healthcare, to the county governments. The aim was to improve service delivery, address local health needs, and bridge the gaps between urban and rural areas. Chuka Level 5 Hospital, located in Tharaka Nithi County, was set to benefit from this transformative change. - Věda a technologie
In Less than 10 years Tharaka Nithi has been transformed. I can imagine what I found in 2016 and what has been done to date. Bravo Gov Muthomi Njuki. You have done it again. Tharak yasonga Mbele.
This is the best documentary ever, seeing how much change has been instilled, its so thrilling and encouraging that even at the grassroot levels ,we are still able to acquire quality and modern healthcare like at the urban center, keep show casing Enock, you are the real GOAT..

Have you seen the new Kerugoya ? Chuka comes at a distant second after the Kirinyaga based Kerugoya
I don't think I have done any comparison with any hospital. The documentary is aimed at highlighting the new achievement...if I get a chance, I will still highlight how other hospitals' improvement since devolution began... So we are not comparing... We are just appreciating efforts towards health care...
Bring another Hospital documentary
*We will always express gratitude to Mr. Raila for championing devolution (Ugatuzi) at a time when both Mr. Ruto and Mr. Uhuru vehemently opposed it. Raila had the vision to allocate even more funds to the counties from the central government, but he faced opposition from his adversaries. Consider the potential progress Kenya could have achieved if Raila's vision had been realized.*
Come to kilifi county referral hospital
Ukarabati kabambe, asante Enoki.
Ahsante sana Dylan. Thanks for watching and be blessed

Thanks to Delovution
Thanks to our governor,, MUTHOMI njuki
Good work from health ministry now people in that region will not need to go to Nairobi to look for treatment.
But kidney transplant is done in Kenya by more than 10 both public and private hospitals
no medicine in the same hospital the hospital is charging patients too much it is like aprivate entity
Better than Isiolo
People need to watch what they eat please people watch what u put in your mouth.... to avoid this facilities
