he definitely looked a lot cooler in season 5 and 6 with the lighting being a lot cooler and it constantly being around him like zoom
Yeah, his voice, the lightning and sounds was way cooler
The only problem I had with this Godspeed was that he was just a V9 junky just like zoom
yeah well I think nora killed the show, first wally was already a bit weird with the whole kid flash cringe but then nora just lowered the show so much, it make it cringe and episodes were taking way too long to release so people just stopped caring.
later seasons nobody watched so budget went downhill

Funnily enough I liked whoever they got to play Godspeed in that episode in season 6 and thought they were much better than who they ended up having being the real August Heart
I don't know about you, however, but I am annoyed that the fifth Godspeed Clone (the one who spoke and who was interrogated by Barry, while in the cell) spoke his last words off screen.

I'm a huge fan of Godspeed from the comic but in TV shows....his storyline was not great at all and I'm very disappointed that he's just screwed up but he's ok villain and hopefully he will be back for one last time in the final season of The Flash.
The man had like 3 different storylines in the show

@@DemeGod313 so the question remains of why even bring back thawne from literal death to help fight Godspeed? Seems pretty unnecessary. Seems to me like Barry just wanted an excuse to kill Godspeed without doing it himself, and because of that, “reverse flashpoint” happens and it’s literally all Barry’s fault because not only did he bring back thawne to help him take down Godspeed, which was completely unnecessary, but he lets him just run away after it was just shown that he’s much faster than him instead of going after him after thawne tries unsuccessfully to kill him. I think it’s safe to say that barry isn’t very intelligent

I love that Godspeed voice but I was confused on why the Clones had a different voice then the original Godspeed.

I liked that version of Godspeed. Not as dope as his comic's counterpart but still a great villain! His personality quite suits him since he believes himself to be the God of Speed. Quite delusional...
Also, I liked how his voice was edited in S7, clone or not.
Hopefully, he didn't die like his comic's counterpart.

@@cpenner7086 Compared to his comic's counterpart? Yes, it's not that dope. But it's still dope considering he cannot be stopped as the meta dampener cells can't hold him. As both Barry and Jay said, a speedster is dangerous when he has no limits.

I have to say, Godspeed was good in season 5 and 6 with that Voice and he was actually buff! But in season 7 he was skinny and they changed his mask a bit!
It’s definitely the voice for me. It got worse overtime. I don’t understand why they kept changing it.

The fact that either BD Wong didn't want to return or they just couldn't get him back says a lot about their direction they were taking the show.
Originally I thought that Godspeed simply used the Flash's own move against him as revenge for how a version of him was beaten during the first encounter but now knowing how the quality of the show's CGI dropped in later seasons I am wondering if actually they just reused the same CGI but swapped the colors of the speedsters around. If you play the shot of him looping the building side by side you can see that the shot looks about 80% the same. It is the same building, which has the same two buildings casting reflections on it, with the same building to its left....
They probably did but the story reason of godspeed wanting to give the flash a taste of his own medicine still works

I think the clones fight in s7 and Barry vs a clone in the same season was pretty good after that they fell off

What's missing from Godspeed:
No sense of surprise when his identity is revealed
He never endangered or killed anyone that we the audience care about
He never humiliated Barry or pushed him to get better
His appears during the day which makes him look non threatening
Not even his lighting color (white) is original (he stole it from Savitar)
His voice isn't intimidating
that 5th one shows you missed the point

Wow this is how much the flash has downgraded, power ranger looking villain whos too much of mustache twirling villain rather than like how the sppedsters of seasons 1, 2 and 3 were, especially the scene where hes like "turns out i like being the bad guy" like seriously who thought that was good piece of dialogue. The early seasons had a element of dark and serious tones/themes to it but here its like it was watered down to more kid friendly smh
