I’ve been doing pretty good. I bet I caught about 50 puffers and 50 skates over those two days. It’s just been a grind lately out there.

I'm down in myrtle beach I'd give anything to be able to drive to where I want to fish lol we hike it down here
Yeah. Driving is nice but I also fish alot of places where I have to cart too.

Yes I caught so many skates and puffers probably the same day there.
The skates were unreal. They would come through and wreck the entire spread too.
I love it when Elias gets into those skates! At least you guys can get live shrimp; I fish Va. Beach beaches and all you can get around here is frozen dead shrimp. I don’t catch much on dead shrimp, not even skates 😡!
They skates are horrible right now. I bet I caught 50 in those two days.
Dude, skates were horrendous at KB yesterday. Nothing I did could stop the damage, caught 32 of the SOBs in 2 and half hours
I probably did the same over those days. Wrecked about 10 rigs too.
Man oh man Eric, you got me wanting to do some winter surf fishing in Eastern NC !! Out of all the kinds of saltwater fishing you do, I seem to enjoy the surf fishing segments the most 😊. Was just wondering what you are "clipping" on your caught fish before you put them in the bucket- are u "bleeding" them? Does it help keep the fish "fresher"? P.S. Thanks so much for the nice message. I appreciate you reaching out. I am bleeding them out, yep. Just clipping the gills and braining the fish because it really makes a big difference in taste to me. Get down here soon because I don't know how long the drum will be in the surf like they are.
