    You might want to think about adding a heal to the ramps when have a car or truck go up and down the heal will help keep the back end of trailer from going down alot.

      Always a good idea for sure…. Takes alot of stress off the hitch, and the hinges for the ramp… Also extra weight, but they make springs to assist with that.

    Where did you get the brackets for the hinge rod from?

      @@zakhumphries9019 they came on the trailer. If u have a mag drill and plasma cutter it would be easy to make your own. But if you just want to buy them, just search "weld on ramp rod bracket"

    I made lighter ramps, wen towing a longer vehicles the ramps are going to be a problem.

      Yes, you are correct, they have already been a problem a couple times. I've had to chain them or strap them to the back of the boat, or the tractor. Maybe you're right, lighter ramps are probably the best answer. Hey thanks for watching and for commenting

    Hey fella I've got a 20ft dove tail diamond deck all steel and I welded 200pd test chains with S hooks on both sides, works great and it's a little harder for bad ppl to cut chains, perhaps bad ppl was a bit strong, instead I'll say ppl with bad intentions

    • @anesthesiadreamin
      @anesthesiadreamin  Před 5 lety

      Wait - are you using the chains to hold the ramps?

    • @randolphperrysr2217
      @randolphperrysr2217 Před 5 lety

      @@anesthesiadreamin ok so I didn't see the video of you welding the steel bars on each side, my chains are almost in the same position as the bars you are using to securec your ramps, the chains pull forward and keep tension on the ramps, the only drawback is hauling long vehicle but now that Ive seen you abort the idea of scraps, your set now is much better than chains

      @@randolphperrysr2217 So far I have a few hundred miles on the trailer, and the ramps have held up nicely using the "c" channel (in the next video). Nothing has bent (yet LOL). Thanks for your comments
