"I'VE NEVER SEEN IT BEATEN" FAMOUS BEEF SLIDER CHALLENGE (From Man Vs Food Show)

- MAN VS FOOD FAILED? Adam Richman tried to take on this "Ultimate Jewish Slider Challenge" in Man v. Food Phoenix and was met with defeat.. Can we beat this famous brisket challenge? For this Arizona food challenge, and deli food challenge there are one dozen GIANT "Chompie's original Jewish Sliders" which have moist lean brisket, potato pancakes, and "jack" cheese, served on massive challah rolls. The challenge also includes a mountain of their homemade onion straws and an optional side of brown gravy. We had a short 30 minute time limit to finish this giant slider challenge to get the meal for free and previously you got a tshirt but they stopped it many years ago. I was at the Chompie's Deli & Bakery at their Chandler location in Phoenix, Arizona, which i was told was the only location to still offer the challenge (but I didn't check this myself). If failed the meal cost $65, and you can join the other 10,000+ people to fail the challenge! Can we beat this slider eating challenge? Or will this giant eating challenge beat us?

I feel like the restaurant wasn't that nice to him. They almost tripled the amount of onions, the food was cold, no one offered drinks or anything, and yet he still raved about the food and how good it was. I've seen a couple of challenges where he wasn't treated well and he still is so sweet and gracious. I felt bad watching this one towards the end, just because no one checked on him. In the service industry, that's like a basic skill. Great job Joel, you're always amazing! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I feel like he kinda has to though. Can you imagine if he gave his honest opinion every time? He'd become known as the guy that gives bad reviews and brings businesses down. They wouldn't ever invite him and maybe even block him from going in to do the challenges.

Adam Richman is an actor not a competitive eater. He did a show that highlighted and basically made food competitions and competitors popular. Much respect to Adam 💪🏾😎
Yes, he threw himself - like a champ - at the challenges, and was not afraid to show his many failures - and it totally brought the reality of these competitive eaters into focus. Maximum respect to Adam for sure

"It's already cold." bingo. I ordered a couple of those sliders (at that location, in fact) for lunch one day. ice cold. could swear it was night before's leftovers.
The sliders didn’t last 10 minutes so with 20 minutes and only a plate of straw onions left, there was no doubt about finishing in time. Joel, destroyed another challenge that others just couldn’t hack. Truly an eating legend! 😮😮😮😢😅😊😊😊

I went back and watched the original episode with Adam Richman and you had 3 times as many onion strings as he had and you still finished in under 14 minutes. You're awesome Joel!!!

Adam isn't a competitive eater, just a guy that went around to different places and brought attention to restaurants and challenges, he never tried to beat anyone's time, just tried to finish, he wasn't upset if he couldn't beat it because he got paid either way.

This sounds crazy but honestly I haven’t been able to eat properly recently and learned that a close friend of mine passed a couple days ago. The thought of food made me feel sick to my stomach & I couldn’t hold anything down for the life of me. But watching Joel eat actually made me feel a little hungry & now the trail mix I had actually taste pretty decent. Thanks for uploading great content💕

Adam was humble and funny. There were challenges that Adam did not complete. That's what made the show interesting. Really miss that show. Not because of the eating but because of his personality.

the actual challenge was to eat the onion straws, 12 sliders, and a bottle of mustard. which makes this out of character cause its normally a bottle of ketchup

I would have asked for it all to be reheated. Challenge or not, no one deserves cold food that was supposed to be hot. Would make it dry too. Sounds like a tactic to make it harder to eat or that they didn't care because they knew he would get it for free.

Great job crushing that challenge. I loved Man VS Food with Adam Richman. He was a great host for that. It's a shame his health became dangerous and he had to leave the show. It's not the same without him. I don't know if his health was because of the amount of foods he ate on the challenges but I know he'd gotten an infection that nearly killed him, plus he'd become depressed. I've seen him hosting this one show, forget the name but he's doing good now. I know you have your own health issues because of these challenges. Please take care of yourself because I see you pushing it a lot. You said you might need surgery. Be careful.
