I've never seen Joel so serious, not talking to the staff, enclosed in his earphones, isolated, not one word of praise to the food. He was so rightly disgusted and mad that it was painful to see. I just visited Vegas in April. And I honestly wasn't too impressed with the restaurants there. They cost twice as much as other places, and the food isn't usually as good. The other restaurants Joel has gone to are probably a lot better. He usually goes to some really good places. There is a reason why he praises their food.
They’re foul for that but faithful watchers understand the assignment here 😂 and I’m not mad at the earphones..no compliments to the chef .. or not having the count down before starting 😭 I love Joel you never disappoint ❤

maybe the restaurants should just do away with food challenges altogether? So they lowered the prize money because they were losing too much? More people than they expected were beating it. Seems pretty common sense to me.@@hittrennathompson8286

I too get frustrated when a restaurant doesn’t weigh the total dish so it’s the same each time and the prize is as stated not lowered ! You are always a gentleman and muscle through! Proud for your success!

I know! He's usually so complimentary to all the staff, speaks glowingly about the quality of the food. A perfect guest. Oh, He must have been steamed about the nasty double cross that the restaurant did. And he has no happy enthusiasm, did you notice? He just forces his way through without enjoying it. It's painful! 😮

Usually Joel is saying throughout the video how delish the food is. I'm 14 minutes into when he started eating and not once has he said the food was tasty, and Joel loves Mexican food. Half the enjoyment I get from watching Joel do these challengers is seeing how much enjoys all the flavors and food. It's obvious Joel is not enjoying this which is pretty rare no matter how hard the challenge may be.
He said in the beginning that they did weigh it out. Rewatch it. They weren't really shady in that aspect, they were honest.

At least there was no issue with dry, crunchy, chewy foods like dense pizza crust though I suspect that pulled meat would be pretty chewy aw
after awhile and probably get sick of chewing the same flavours. This was obviously a difficult one with zero support though the place sounded pretty empty.

I so prefer when you don't use your ear phones, because you don't talk to your home audience much at all, when they're in. Plus, you can't hear what the workers are telling you. It just seems like you're more personable and into your audience without them. Nevertheless, your eating skills are phenomenal. You ROCK, Joel!

You are one of the few people I see wearing gloves during these challenges. And I think it's a really good idea. Especially on this challenge. It is so insanely messy. Although, I wouldn't waste time with napkins. You need a roll of paper towels. I went to a barbecue chicken place. And they had them at the tables. Great idea. I was just in Vegas in April of this year. The shows are good, and the bus tour of the Hover Dam was great, but everything is super expensive. Fortunately, I don't gamble. Because that would make it a lot more expensive. It's the kind of place a person needs to see once to say that they did it. But maybe not twice.

Honestly probably lowered the amount because as you said, the winners have all happened in the last few weeks… they’ve lost thousands of $$ recently. That’s a lot for a restaurant to lose 👀

He shouted out the staff being friendly more than once. They were respectful to him. It was a lot of food. He was in pain. I’m sure the food was good. He did shout out the place as well and said to come check it out. Joel is a very stand up guy and very nice and respectful himself no matter what.
