I had Sepsis in January 2016 with Pneumonia, enlarged heart & organs failing also had to have lung drain. They told my family I had a hr to live. I then had it again in March without organs failing but a Empyema then another drain through the back rather than the side first time round. Last time I was on iv Antibiotics for 20 days. Thank god for the team that came too me & everyone the second time too. I am so grateful to them all. I'm 57 a female and doing pretty good. I was told the anti tnf therapy for psoriatic Arthritis was my demon. Hence I'm not having it at the moment. The whole team were fantastic in the manor hospital West Midlands.

Oxygen comes first in treatment, then fluid resuscitation, then antibiotics. Great job on the diagnostic test.

Why do you give oxygen? Is it because of the low PaCO2?
It's to increase O2 perfusion.
Because of PaO2 of less than 8kPa (Type 1 respiratory failure)
The blood pressure drops with the shock. Important to maintain tissue and organ perfusion.
What the hell. Now I want sepsis even more after this.
Grow up guys. I don't think this video should look like it made for SK children. With different cartoon characters and annoying music. It always ruins the video and a lot of distractions and disturbing. I don't know what's wrong with these people.
