How is sepsis treated? Sepsis six demystified

  • SIRS, systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) is also known as sepsis. Sepsis is the most frequent cause of mortality in intensive care units (ICUs) and is responsible for more than 250,000 deaths in the United States annually. This video aims to spread awareness regarding sepsis and help people understand the current treatments in place to treat it. Sepsis six consists of three diagnostic and three therapeutic steps that are currently being used as guidelines for sepsis treatment within hospitals.

    Hello, I've been diagnosed with folliculitis since 2013 caused by staphylococcus infection. I also had furnacles & fear that I may have Sepsis. I heard that this is a uncurable deadly disease & I'm afraid to die from this. I don't know what to do.
