Video was fire everyone joining the navy need to watch this 🔥🔥🔥
Thanku
Join the Army, navy looks sad
I remember in boot camp they told us no matter what your job is in the navy, at some point you will paint and wax the deck. They were right 😂
And polish door knobs pick up cigarette butts around the NCO club if present that sucked to.
Thank you for your service. Very informative.
Thank you for supporting.
I'm retired Navy 30yrs active duty 1982-2012, as a E-9 and yes this is true, But once you start making rank it gets a lot better.
What was your job?
@@MadisonBaez
You mean rate?
@@joscar062 No I mean rank. Rate means job you do.

Great info thanks for the vid
Nice video.I was stationed aboard carriers too while in the navy-USS KITTYHAWK,USS ROOSEVELT-assigned to VF-84(Jolly Rogers)attack squadron at NAS OCEANA,Va Bch,Va.
Thank you. What years on the Roosevelt?
Good video bro, thanks for the heads up.. It's the bed for me, down to the ground..🤣 I make sure I grab the top bunk! 👊
When coming to tips for deployments, always listen to the Jr. Enlisted.
Yeah....
They know all the new technology that old salty hasn't heard of.
Agreed
some of the worst advice I have ever seen
Very handsome! Thank you for your service!
Thankyou for supporting🤞🏽
Thanks bro this helped me a lot I’m joining us the navy this year I’m so excited
congrats. glad to help💪🏽
Good for you bro!! Go kick some ass!
Thanks for the tips. I'm cranking right now, it sucks but it's temporary. I appreciate my division and being an ET more now than I ever did.
et gang
So good! 🔥
Thanku
Ha ha! Being a rated DC, I did my TAD doing DC maintenance for supply. Having some of the best Filipino food I ever had was a perk. I loved having the bottom rack. I can crawl in it when I needed to and roll out if we had a fire alarm.
Great video
Great video!
thanks!
great video 🙂👍
Amazing video
thank you
When I was onboard the USS Kalamazoo (AOR-6) from 1987 to 1989 I did not have to work in the Galley OR the laundry. HM's did not perform those duties.
So creative 🔥
thankyou
Shit fire🔥
Well not to up on NAVY GI inspections, etc. but when your video clip showed the shower stall, it looked like a pigsty, from the fixtures to the walls to the floors. We were in WW2 & Korean War era barracks @ Ft Bragg, but our common areas, such as the showers & heads were spotless. Or your butts wouldn't see the outside until so. That video was disgusting & a shame conditions are tolerated like that, Gr8 for recruitment!!!!
Cool
Safety check on clippers, gear adrift galore, head phones in uniform.. damn!
That shower was a disgrace. Someone is failing at their duty
Help🤢
The people that use it aren't cleaning it. They should. Everyone has to clean the ship.
I liked that USS Roosevelt. Definitely nicer than the USS Nimitz, FTN.
Mani remember those days I was in back in 2001 on the JFK
Hey shipmate where is the safety check tag?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great content 🔥
Thank you ❤️
All new salors are assigned to s div. Permanent k p duty for a couple of months.
How are the living and sleeping arrangements for officers?
I had a top rack and had a pipe running through it if I layer on my side I had maybe 2 or 3 inches so top racks can suck
How do you have a beard ? Whats the process to get that approved
You are not allowed to have a beard and mustache unless they touch . At least that was the rule when i was in.
The lockers and bunks look small . But it is comfortable.
4:01 General quarters…. stays in his rack 🤣
lol
if you get to the ship as an e4 and its a carrier then you wont have to go to the mess decks. Every other ship you have to crank
Crank?
@@username566-jb8sx when you are sent to work the mess deck its called cranking
I would just advice, if your getting station on a LPD, you get more room and you have more quality of life on those type of ships.
3:15 Isn't that supposed to be cleaned daily?
Fun fact What if the faucet water is really the water from the ocean
It might be🤭🤭
It is, sea water gets turned into fresh water from distilling plants in the ships than the fresh water is turned into potable water
What are U doing with food off the mess deck ? 😳 USS JOHN F. KENNEDY ‘69/‘73 BOAT DIV 👍🏽🇺🇸
That shower clip just cost the Navy $1T in counter-recruitment adds. WTF is going on there
Shipmate, where are your patches ?
patches are not required when working on the flightdeck.
That head was NASTY!
Those berthings look nice as fuck!
How tall is this sailor?
" general quarters, general quarters. Man your battle stations!"
Nope. I'd rather get masted than miss my 5 minutes of sleep
Then loose money, and restricted to the ship and miss out on liberty overseas. Nope.. get the fuck up and get your battlestation!
Your guaranteed 3 squares a day but sleep what's that. You will work an 8 hr shift plus at least a 4 hr watch duty some times 2 watches. But all the coffee you can drink. And you'll need it
Looks like someone took a crap in the shower. 100% sandals every time in the shower.
Better have 3 pair of shower shoes no Kizzy
No lies told😂 and dont leave em around they might get stolen.
Omg that shower 🚿 make me so nervous... thank you
I'm going to great lakes for Bootcamp Nov 16, when I shave with a razor I get mad razor bumps, will they allow me to not shave but keep it trimmed because it's gonna hurt if I have to keep shaving over bumps?
I can relate. Watch my latest video where i talk about how to keep your beard. It applies for bootcamp as well.
@@caliekali1887 going to watch it now, thanks future shipmate! 💪🏾
ok so quick question are you planning on going to BUDs for seal training
no
To ate up
no
Every E3 and below goes TAD bro. Where the hell is first lieutenant/ coup cleaner’s? That’s unsat & don’t ever get in a rack dressed and without sheets ? WTF ?
better have that no shave chit ready when I walk by
Thinking the same thing!
Bruh where’s the soap for the dishes? 🤣🤣
Lol after its rinsed it goes through the machine and it dispenses soap for the final clean.
@@caliekali1887 I was thinking I will never eat off his plates 🤣🤣
I wouldnt do you like that🙆🏾♂️😂
@@caliekali1887 omg🤣🤣🤣
Your showers have doors!!
learn to take sponge baths, saving water, and space....
Most modern warships have plenty of water. My last two ships 99% of the fresh water was for crew use, I can't remember the exact amount the Burkes with RO's make but it's around 20K gallons a day.
That’s crazy they let you do this civilians aren’t even allowed in the birthing area
One unsat ass mf 😂 I feel your pain though. I’ll add crocs to shower, flushable wipes, and protein powder.
That's one way to really PISS OFF the HT's, any type of wipes, flushable or not. They clog up the macerators in the CHT system then they have to tear them apart and clean them out!
That banana on top of your rack is unsat…. No food in the berthing shipmate….
This is why you want to stay in school and graduate. So you can be an officer and live like a regular person.
You from New York???
yup
youre allowed a beard?
yes
Sailor's don't clean the heads anymore? 🤮
Wow you know you joined a wuss branch of service when your biggest fear is doing dishes or laundry. Gtfoh
Is there wifi?
there is not. I've been on a ship that has though for a select period of time.
@@caliekali1887 thanks
you have a beard can you have beards in the navy???
Based off of religious reasons or medical reasons (such as razor burns/bumps). You gotta go to medical for the approval.
yes
Yall get to have facial hair?
Watch my latest video for details
How you got a beard?
Its called a shave chit. Allows you to grow a beard up to a quarter inch.
@@caliekali1887 why ?? Because you have some type of issue with ur skin ?
@@dilsontoribio stay tune for the next video explaining this.
Where's that electrical safety tag on those clippers? Confiscation. What's up with those ear buds? Speeding ticket. Show me that no-shave chit. Not on your person? Speeding ticket. Lying in a rack in uniform? That could be a report chit. Get your shit together, shipmate.
Get laid bitch
@@submarinerlou That's one of the jobs of the senior enlisted, to keep track of their junior Sailors. To keep them out of trouble and out of the eyes of the Officers. Yes, it can be a bitch but it's necessary.
