Got to see Tim's wizardry up close and personal back in the late 70's and early 80's in the clubs in Albuquerque. He was a serious badass.

@Kevin Jones Tim Pierce played that mandolin thing in Goo Goo dolls' Iris, he played the second guitar in Dont Dream it's Over by Crowded House. He also had a small guitar part in Michael Jackson's Black or White (not the main guitar though). He also played guitar on Meat Loaf songs such as I'd Do Anything For Love.
He also played on pop records by Miley Cyrus, Jason Mraz, Céline Dion, etc but I'm not sure on which songs...
WOW, These GUYS are GREAT. I've been playing for over 50 years and EVERY time I watch Joe, I learn something new. Norman, YOU are a one LUCKY Man to have these Guys.

I am watching this on my tv 20 000 miles from LA, on a warm evening in a silent place except for a breeze like beach waves in the eucalypt trees, hearing about Cuba and its fading art deco slumber and listening to 3 guys jamming beautifully. I will never buy a guitar from Norm but hes not in it just for the money despite what he says.

3 of the nicest and most humble guys around town. It makes me sad to see people who see themselves as musicians and fans of music on here in the comments treating this like it's a competition, or whining that they "can't feel the blues" when they listen to any of them. If you don't dig it then that's fine, we all have preferences, but these guys have devoted their lives to mastering the instrument and if you don't think that demonstrates having a genuine passion for music then you're the one that just doesn't get it. I love watching respected professionals play together and bounce ideas off each other. Makes me want to go and jam with someone right now haha!

Tim Pierce is simply a great player.... melodies for days... it's so fun to listen ti his playing.... JB definitely has crushing chops, but you can just sense that Tim is really listening to what he is playing.... Chops Vs. Musicality....

Touch and go. I think Joe's a better blues guy when all's equal - as in, everyone's on their favourite gear - but Tim's note choice and ability to sit into just about any style and kill it without rehearsal is amazing. They each play the notes that don't occur to the other.
I REALLY like Bonamassa's Comment, when they stop.......Hilarious, and ......found him humble and cool....Joey....remember when you were a kid, you and your Dad would stop by "Phil's Guitars" shop, either Seattle, or later, South SF and play my old guitars? Shop is long gone, after 35 years. Like Zavarella's, It went away....but DAMN those were interesting days...

Archtop guitars have such a special voice- they take a different touch and technique than flattop or solid body. All three players here have strong right hands--really helpful on these instruments.
As a non player I cannot imagine how fulfilling and rewarding it must to play in front of music lovers and thus providing them with a kick ass rewarding performance experience. Hey, itfi
I love hearing accomplished musicians perform before an appreciating group of fans in a close encounter setting. Everybody including both the players and the mullet heads fans like me benefit from such jams.

It's great watching them. Literally all three had such different styles of playing and all great which makes watching more enticing. I wish Joe would slow down sometimes - he's great but it's all just fastfastfast all the time.
