I painted the exterior of my house SW Tempe Star. I love it! Also, I recently saw a huge stucco house painted SW Indigo Batik. It looks rather shocking next to the bright green golf course directly behind it. The other houses on the street are painted in neutral colors so it really stands out. The woman who lives there is a graphic designer, hence her bold choice of paint color.
I just paint my entire powder room sea serpent woth 1 tiny window I'm going for dark and moody vibe and I love it! The color is gorgeous and sofisticated
I am new to the language and knowledge of LRV regarding paint. I'm 52 and never knew how important this is in rooms with low or high natural light! Also the whole undertone info is helpful! Thank you!!
@homelikeyoumeanit . Oh wow, those are the exact same colors we picked. We're doing our whole house in white dove with different sheens for the trim and ceiling, and brittania blue for the island! We're also going to have a lot of natural woods throughout, so I'm so glad I got to see those colors together. It's gorgeous.
Which blue would you suggest for painting a free-standing cabinet that’s in a SW Antique White room? The room is on the NW corner of my house. The adjoining room is painted BM Collingwood on the top half and BM White Dove on the bottom half.
I love your list. I am wondering about Benjamin Moore North Sea. (Not North Sea Green) I can’t seem to find it reviewed anywhere. Are you familiar with it? Do you have thoughts?
Your videos are so helpful! I plan to use SW Tempe Star to paint below the chair rail in my kitchen. Waterloo was another color I considered. My kitchen gets quite a bit of light. Tempe Star is not on your list. What are your thoughts?
Tempe Star is beautiful! If your kitchen gets a lot of light it should be fine, but make sure you test out a large sample, because this color is dark enough to go too dark in the wrong light.
@@homelikeyoumeanit Thank you for your advice. I really appreciate it! I'm disappointed that I didn't find your videos sooner. The painters will be here in 2 days! 🤞😅
My house is decorated in white and blue. I bought the Ikea lommarp cabinets in blue green color. What wall color would be the best to bring the blue out? Now they look more dark green than blue.

I am revamping a bed room to my dream library and I want to do a dark color on the book shelves and walls and I love Brittannia blue
It's the best blue as far as I'm concerned!
Thank you so much for this informative video❤
Love your Britannia blue cabinets ! What color white did you use on the cabinets next to that please?
Thank you! Those are white dove. I have a video on that if you want to check it out. I hope to do a kitchen remodel reveal video soon!

You need a muted blue, something like BM Britannia Blue, SW Slate Tile, or SW Needlepoint Navy.
I love your list. I am wondering about Benjamin Moore North Sea. (Not North Sea Green) I can’t seem to find it reviewed anywhere. Are you familiar with it? Do you have thoughts?
I could take this color in very small doses. Too much for me for a wall color.

thanks for all your knowledge! which color is the blue/gray cabinets behind you painted?
You're welcome. That's Benjamin Moore Britannia Blue.
Hi! I am thinking Britannia Blue for my windowless powder room. Would simply white work for the ceiling and trim?
You bet! Simply White is a pretty neutral (although bright) off white without too many yellow undertones popping out!
My house is decorated in white and blue. I bought the Ikea lommarp cabinets in blue green color. What wall color would be the best to bring the blue out? Now they look more dark green than blue.
Hi! What about Sherwin Williams Breezy? I think that would be beautiful!
@@homelikeyoumeanit Thanks!
What color is that cabinet behind you? I was hoping that would be one of the colors you were going to talk about.
That's the first one I talked about! BM Britannia blue!
@@homelikeyoumeanit thank you so much
I have a small bathroom with no natural light but want to paint it a dark blue. I have light oak cabinets. What would u suggest . Thank u
Honestly, you can go with any of the colors I listed in the video. Just decide on what type of blue you want....a true blue? Navy blue? Slate blue?
What color is on the bottom wall of you extra room?
Benjamin More White Dove. Here's a video on it: czcams.com/video/qC-zClWD_s8/video.html
