JLP killed the "chasing Nike" take! Had Welty full stop there. Maybe he just let it rock because they have a show to get on with or they already roasted nike earlier throughout the episode, but rare to see him not have a full response ready to anything remotely anti-adidas/NB. Another great episode! Also, I rock my DMX 10s all the time, cool to see them get a shout.
I was able to get a pair at Kohl's in MA. The staff was so confused why some many people were running in at the same time for a pair of shoes. Limited to 1 per person.

There's also the NYC to Paris and LA to Chicago Jordan 1 SB's. Seems like most, if not all, of them have some type of wear away material. Maybe the 4's will start out all black with a different colorway under.

Depending on what you are releasing, it makes sense to be forced to sign exclusivity because you could end up sharing trade secrets with a competitor.

Are the De La's authentic? The hologram doesn’t change at all.
A lot of samples or first made pairs are all black. Adidas I believe first started doing this now others have started to follow suit. If you don't have a high resolution close up shot it being all black makes it more difficult to discern what is what. Quite frankly I'm surprised it's taken them this long to notice that, anyway expect a lot more all black samples in the future.

Just last morning I was thinking to myself how I just don’t like Nike. I mean there’s a recent drop of a Jordan 1 low that looks okay but I haven’t been impressed with Nike for years. And for them to possibly mimic a silhouette doesn’t help anything but them having more sales instead of being more creative with their best sellers. Without a effort of more creativity, there’s only going to be reissues of things that could be volumes.

Nike started by copying Adidas. Everyone copies everybody. That's fashion. Everyone is going to copy New Balance for a couple years until the next thing. Everyone always had something funny to say about my Newbies, now everyone loves them, too much. I'm over them (for now). You sneaker kids have ruined so many shoes for me. I sound bitter and old, but not as old and bitter as all those people acting like the only cool shoes are Nike.
