I LOVE how Sally interrupted you. My cat Indy does the same thing when I'm drawing, laying on my sketchbook. Like you, I would NEVER ban my cat from my room to keep him from getting "involved" with my drawing. Sally is so adorable. I love the "cat intermissions". 🙂
Every time I buy a new sketchbook I convince myself that because of the way it is, I’ll finish it. I’ve lied 100% of the time.

Try buying smaller or thinner sketchbooks, usually it's less intimidating.

I have so many sketchbooks, enough to fill the entire bottom shelf of my huge shelf, and I am terrified by everything single one. It’s my shelf of shame.

I like having "misshaps" in my journals, notebooks and wherever I make them (don't have proper sketchbooks) they are learning and shows me how far I've come and also inspirational because even if I have made something I don't like there's usually something in the image that I like.
I usually tear out drawings in my sketchbooks that are good and hang them up, so I'm usually left with a sketchbook full of my mistakes
Never lock Sally out. She's such a sweetie. Love the last one a lot. Didn't think I would, but I did. I like them all, but that one was my fav. TYFS

For some reason, those bunny aliens reminds me of characters that could be in the Moomin cartoon, they also remind me of the bunny creatures from My Neighbour Totoro. Very nicely done on the challenges
I don’t know who would suggest leaving Sally outside but never do that. I love seeing that cute little kitty.

Me: I've had my sketchbook for one year and I'm still not finished 😬
Hopefully one day I'll finish it so I can make a sketchbook tour on my channel, but I doubt that day will ever come 😅

I actually have a sketchbook that I’ve had for almost 20 years, I add a new drawing every year (give or take) and it’s one of my most prized possessions bc it’s like a time capsule of my life. ❤️

I really like all three of your illustrations, especially the one with one marker only. That one looks sooooo tranquil and peaceful. And your little bunny E.T.s hit exactly that sweet spot between eerie and cute, they look nothing like them, but somehow make me think of the Kodamas, those little forest sprites from Ghibli's Princess Monoke 🥰
The bunny blob almost looks similar to pink bunny from anime “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun “ so cuteee

Every time I see someone opens or unboxes a new sketchbook or art supply my brain immediately goes like: *TO THE AMAZON* 😂
I know what they remind me of. I think they look a little like Totorro, but they’re still a lot different and original. Love how all of the pieces turned out! ❤️💜
The bunnies remind me of a book I loved! It’s about huge, sweet loving, alien rabbits that come down from space and terrorize a summer camp! It’s a really good book, but your characters look unique over all! I think it’s mostly the space bunny theme that makes me think of it 😂
Recently I've actually began finishing sketchbooks in a couple of months, even though I used to be a SUPER perfectionist about it. *Now I'm always running out of sketchbooks though*

I been doing watercolor so my old sketchbook is for color pencils and charcoal, so I bought a watercolor one . Only 5 pages left though.
Supper cute pictures yet again, no don’t lock the kitty out! My my heart nearly stopped when you said this, I have a kitty that loves watching me sew (face mask had to make some) supper cute and also made the sewing time fly by! Himm favourite picture was number two love the pop of red but your last one is also very pretty and cute, love your aliens so cute, haven’t seen them before so I’m no help on were they come from. Thanks for a fun relaxing time especially the kitty time he so cute!

I think they ment that the ink on the paper wouldn't feather or bleed in the paper grain, its a shame as I hate wasting pages due to seal through, but i did like Megan wheelers idea to gesso the backs and use the paper that way.

I agree that the paper description means the markers will retain crisp lines rather than bleeding beyond what was drawn.
Using the pink to shade the green was one of the best choices in the five-marker challenge. It really did give a soft warmth to the tone.
As for the three-marker challenge image--the creatures kind of make me think of Gaia Online?
Sally is an essential part of the videos though. Artists and artist pets shall NOT be separated!

This video makes me so happy. I never really do full coloured or scenes as finished artworks, but im planning to make my best friend a painting for her 19th birthday. She requested a colourful scene with faeries and like mushroom houses so your pallates and content in this vid are really on theme with that and help me feel inspired! Plus watching you develop the theme over the three pieces, and graduate through different environments is really cool and makes me feel more able to do the same while I thumbnail and plan what my piece will actually be, as I've only made one full concept so far, and felt unsure how to make variations of. So thank you! And your art rules! And Sally is BABY ❤❤❤

Honestly, I truly respect people who finish sketchbooks like it's nothing! I really suck at it so since half a year now I just draw on different pieces of paper or homemade paper and bind my own books so they become a finished sketchbook over time and dont lie to myself that I will finish one eventually (I dont).

Some sketchbooks are just not enjoyable to use, but if the style is the problem: everyone is changing and developing. :) The illustrations look really cute and adorable.
The cat intermission was really adorable and I’m more of a dog person please never lock your cat away she’s so cute. Oh also I love the drawing I know the feeling of not wanting to mess up new books but I’d be proud to be able to draw like you can.

I really love using Ohuhu markers (or markers in general, I just love these ones a LOT) for doing things with dots. It looks extremely satisfying making a gradient out of them.
Pointillism/Stippling is a great effect! I am in awe of those people who do it with only black fineliners and end up doing about a million dots in one piece. It is definitely a style/method I want to try more of.
The aliens kind of remind me of the Shadow Heartless from Kingdom Hearts 🖤

Gorgeous color work. I've had to work on that idea that a sketch book isn't about perfect finished work either. It's so hard, but I'm starting to figure it out...and I hate drawing on the left page.

It says, "...surface the prevents bleeding, smudging and feathering for clean artwork." This means that on the front of the paper while drawing the ink doesn't bleed into other areas where you didn't place the ink (NOT that is doesn't bleed through to the back side of the paper) Construction paper bleeds like crazy from side to side and through to the back
