- In this video, I'm going to the newly opened Flanker's Kitchen and Sports Bar at the Mandalay Bay in fabulous Las Vegas! This is a new restaurant that just opened and is on the way to Allegiant Stadium from the Mandalay Bay corridor. I'm looking forward to some good bar food!

Though a road show sounds fun, I have a day job and weekends I dedicate to family and friends so it would be very hard to maintain. But you never know what the future holds

They might like me for how much I order but I take a long time while I'm there to film so I always feel like I'm being a nuisance. I blanket tip 20% regardless of service level because I know I'm more inconvenient than the average diner. Hopefully they all like me coming in lol. Thanks for watching!

Great videos, I love your food reviews. Very descriptive and helpful. Can you do an updated video for Palms AYCE Lobster buffet? I am curious if it is easier to get in now that they have Wednesday and Thursday nights. Last year I waited 3 hours and gave up before I could get in, tips on how to get in would be greatly appreciated.

Paying a premium isn't the worst thing except when the food isn't exceptional. The wings and the fillet would be my first choices, so it is a maybe for sure.

Saw anchor steam in the beers. Thats one of the last times you will see that beer on a menu since they went under. Not the best beer or anything but a nice San Francisco classic. For a while they also had a fantastic distillery.

Shin I've got to gig you for this over priced place. Onion Rings $13 omg 😲? I just bought Vidalia Onion ( the best sweet Onion from Georgia) for a $1.29, no frigging way labor & O/H costs anywhere near $12 dollars. And Chicken at $33 did I see that correctly, ar my Sam's Club I bought a freshly made one for $4.99. LV is nice but it has become a tourist trap for the dumb & well-off just my opinion. Find us those hidden gems 💎 please. BTW food did look good.
I don't know if there are any cheap food gems on the strip at this point. I cover most cheap eats in my $10 or less short series. Priority in terms of what I cover is always new restaurants first. New restaurants open a lot in the summer and fall so that's what you'll see on the channel primarily. As new restaurant openings slow down for the year, I look to restaurants that have been around. Oddly enough, I've probably lost about 15 lbs since starting CZcams. On the days I record, what you watch me eat in the video is usually what I've eaten for that day. Then I eat the leftovers for about 2 days afterwards. That's about it and I've lost some weight. I guess it just goes to show how terribly I was eating before lol. Thanks for watching!

Nah, I'll "pass" on Flankers because of the Bud Light first and foremost on the menu. Prices are too high also. Too many other places to get overpriced beer and food.

Love the MENU part. You get a real understanding why it is important to make sure you get your comps while you play at the Casino especially tables. Those prices are epic but it serves a purpose on making sure any comp dollars you have get spent real quick. I mean 18$ for a Giant Pretzel? That pretzel better float in my mouth unassisted for that price but if you have comps you don't care. So that's my point. DONT GO HERE with your AMEX go here with your players card.
yes but how much money do you need to blow at the gaming tables before you get comps for a $200 meal? probably cheaper just to pay the restaurant bill given how low the casino payouts are nowadays.
A lot of convention goers also frequent Vegas and are putting these meals on company credit cards who just write it all off anyways. It's just tough on the average tourist coming to Vegas for a weekend with food prices as high as they are. Thanks for watching!

Those prices are stupid! How many Michelin stars does their Head Chef have? It’s cheaper to eat at any Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants.
I didn't look into it but I doubt they have any Michelin stars. It's about on par pricing wise as Gordon Ramsay Burger but you can certainly eat much cheaper at his Fish and Chips restaurant for sure. Thanks for watching John!

Yes, I take home everything I can and typically eat leftovers for the next two-ish days. CZcams ad revenue does cover a fair bit now and as long as I'm not doing a $500 steakhouse video. I think I'll probably start running in the black next year but I do save some money by not needing to buy food a few days after I do one of these videos. Thanks for watching!

You should have evacuated and the meal would have been free. Was there 2 months ago and had you done this vid back then, I never would have stopped in. As in your video, it' all bar food at 50x the price. While I agree the wings are good, at $3 a wing, it makes it not good. Didn't do dessert, but had a $280 experience for 3 that was worth maybe $50. I think the bartenders are from the casinos because it's all bitters no booze. Good thing you didn't pay that price for one, you can get a free one with 3 spins on a slot. As much as I wanted to like it, I wouldn't ever go back. The server kinda gave off that vibe, where you know it's gunna be bad, but they want the tip and it's not their fault lol. She gave warnings on some menu items. Bad meal but good tip for her!
