Nice intro but the real subject behind the title wasn't actually disclosed and explained.
Well, maybe there was even no such goal, and the most important question "do I really need a 2FA app?" was avoided intentionally, fearing that for many askers the conclusion is likely to be unfavorable regarding 2FA apps in general ant this app in particular.
P.S. As far as it's a common place in the part of the world where I do live, the incoming SMS do not cost anything for the receiving side.

The question of the video was which is the best, and it listed all the pros and cons of all methods so that the viewers can decide which method is the best for them. The goal of the video was never to answer the question - is a 2FA app needed?

The "lets twitst and bend it to our benefit" part is bit overpushed.
Also some parts are defenetly not true!

Which ones do you think aren't true?

      @@2FAS Hehe, think....
I know many services allow multiple keys, so "only way to backup is to turn on other 2FA methods" statement is false. (if i have two cars, and one breaks down, and i use my other, my transport-method does not change....)
Also I know TOTP is an open standard, and many programs/applications can handle it outside of the world of phones, so the app part's con part is a bit misleading ("you need your phone").
Also at emails phising was mentioned, but not at TOTP...while totp phisable too, unlike physical keys, and this was not mentioned either in neither part.
