- 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 is a mid-life facelift of the model, and thus has received some new-age features and a few design changes that make it even more desirable product. As per the company's claim the 2018 Elite i20 has also become more frugal, as both its petrol and diesel versions now return 9 percent more mileage. Though during our test, it gave us almost the same fuel efficiency as the pre-facelift model. There are no changes made to the engine, but the suspension and steering wheel systems have been tweaked to offer better performance. But in real-world conditions, you may not notice any major difference.

Great review dude ... I have too bought i20 asta option 2018 last week...I too feel engine has not much power feels weak sometimes... only review on CZcams who talked about engine true performance and I'm feeling bumps jerk from back end tyres when passing through small potholes ...Is it normal??

Hi Vikash, Good Review... I have one question... I previously held Grand i10 (2014). Now I need new car in 10Lac Budget (Petrol/Diesel doesn't matter). My first choice is i20 Active but unfortunately not reviewed by you. and second is Tata Nexon. I need a feature rich and loaded car of-course with good mileage but safety is top priority. Maruti cars are not safe in accidents according to me. So please suggest

+Uday Mishra If rear seat isn't your concern, the Verna will be better. The Verna has a lot more upmarket cabin, and is slightly better as well in terms of performance.
