Technical Details:
Basically, I've run the guitar, bass and main condenser mic through separate "Guitar rig 3" presets and then into a final "Guitar rig 3" Loop machine. The drums are also passed through a "Guitar rig 3" preset but not through the loop machine. The patching was very complicated due to the fact that I had to use 2 computers as I was using 5 "Guitar rig 3" inserts and the latency had to be very low so that I was in time with what I heard.
As the microphone was connected to the loop machine I couldn't have any monitors because of feedback reasons so I was using in ear headphones with ear protectors on top. To be able to move around without any cables getting tangled up I had to use a radio transmitter and receiver.

Whilst I'm not normally a great fan of loops, this video makes great use of them to illustrate the sheer musicality of the performance. The technology, far from hiding the musical skill, makes it very, very apparent.
