  • Finally my daughter and I make it to the beautiful mountains of Southwestern Virginia for an ATV adventure. We stay in St. Paul Virginia and hit the Mountain View trail, part of the famous Spreadhead Trail system (spearheadtrails.com/mountain-.... Come along and join us for an awesome day as we ride challenging trails and race to beat the rain.
    For more videos about this Massimo, see my playlist "UTV/side-x-side" ( • UTV/side-x-side )

    As mentioned at the end of this video, a special shout-out to Chris of Midwest ATV. I chose St. Paul and the Westernfront Hotel (www.westernfronthotel.com/) because of Chris's video ( • Why You Should be Ridi... ). He got us super excited for this trip and and we're glad he did. See his channel "Navigate Offroad" for other great recommendations and all things ATV (czcams.com/channels/tAL.html.... Thanks Chris.

    I love watching this.. I’ve got the 750, got almost 2,000 miles on it! heading to West Virginia in April, can’t wait! What air pressure do you run? I’m running 8-10 lbs makes it a smoother ride I think.. please do more on the Tboss love it dude!!!

      So glad you enjoyed this. It was a short trip, but a special bonding time with my daughter before she moved away to start her 1st real job in her field.
      I think I was running 15lbs, but in hindsight, that was probably too much. I didn't want to run too low because I didn't know how much was on paved roads vs. of road.
      Hope that helps. Have a great time!

    We were just there to ride in September and stayed in room 207 as well (though they had to move us due to an A/C issue). We love the Western Front!

      That's crazy! What are the odds? So glad you got to go and enjoyed it too. Thanks so much for sharing, and for watching.

    Nice video, I have one as well. Going to be adding some aftermarket stuff in the next video or two I do. If you come by any crazy performance mods let me know. I'm planning a custom straight pipe to replace the restrictive exhaust, and a few other things.

      Nice. Keep me posted how the upgrades go. I'll get over and check out your videos. Thanks for watching.

    Thank you for the video. I'm thinking about buying one. Do you know how far have you driven with it this day?

      I don't recall, as this was a couple yrs ago. I think about 7mi. We were only out about 3.5hrs, as the rain threatened to make our ride miserable so we headed back at about half way to our planned turnaround point. We thoroughly enjoyed it though.
      Thanks for your comments. If you're interested, there are many videos about this UTV on my playlist: ( UTV/side-x-side: czcams.com/play/PL8T-iSUAEa2RJBDMfgnq06UztKiydJW3e.html )

    I just purchased my T-Boss and we are enjoying the unit. I'm now at my first oil change and I've had trouble finding how much oil it holds. The oil change kit comes with two quarts but doesn't say it takes two quarts. I've found videos saying it takes two and a half quarts. How much oil do you use in you oil changes? Thx.

    Awesome!! What a great trip!! Any idea what kind of gas mileage you get with the Massimo?

    • @twc-projects
      @twc-projects  Před 2 lety +1

      Not sure, but it sips gas. I mostly use it for running around my property. This video is only time I filled it up and it barely used 1/3 of a tank, even in the mountains. Let's put it this way, in the nearly two yrs I've had it, I don't think I've put more than 15gal through it, total. My lawnmower on-the-other-hand uses 2+gal/wk.
      Hope this helps. Thanks for your question and for watching. If you haven't already, please subscribe.

    Still like your UTV? They have these at Tractor Supply and almost bought one.

    • @twc-projects
      @twc-projects  Před 2 lety

      Love it! Tractor Supply UTV not quite the same. Look carefully before you buy. When I was doing my research I saw that some people had trouble getting warranty help, as TS version is simply a rebrand. I heard others that love their UTVs from TS. I felt the Massimo direct from TX assembly was a better value, giving me more of what I wanted for the money. So definitely look carefully before you pull the trigger. Whatever you end up buying, they are super useful if you have 4+ acres to keep up with. And they're a whole lot of fun.
      Thanks for watching.

    What size trailer do you recommend for the T-Boss?

    • @twc-projects
      @twc-projects  Před měsícem +1

      At least 5ft 6in wide, 9ft long, and load capacity of at least 1,300 lbs. This thing is far bigger and heavier than it seems. I use a "car hauler" style trailer, with electric brakes, which is 16ft long and has a load capacity of 5,500 lbs. Hopefully that helps for comparison when you see it in my videos.
      Thanks for watching. Have great day.

    How are they in the mud ? I’m buying one in a week

    • @twc-projects
      @twc-projects  Před 2 lety +2

      I've had great luck with them in the mud and have read great things about these tires for all terrain. Even saw a CZcams video of some kids in S America (I think) with one of these TBosses and they where doing way crazier thinks than I'd ever attempt in mud. And I saw another where a guy drove through a rushing river about 10ft wide and nearly 3ft deep. I could believe it didn't stall out. Then he turned around and did it again. Nuts!
      Hope you enjoy your UTV. And thanks for watching my channel. I have a lot of videos with this side-by-side in it..

    What is the top speed

    • @twc-projects
      @twc-projects  Před rokem

      On a smooth level surface, about 40mph. Manufacturer says 45, but I'm guessing that may be with a high octane, because I can't get above 40, maybe 41mph on regular 87 octane fuel.
      I talk about this and everything else in a 2yr review of my Massimo ( czcams.com/video/F0ye5FMRftY/video.html ).
      Thanks for your comments and for watching.

    Is the ride as ruff as the video makes it look....?

    • @twc-projects
      @twc-projects  Před 4 měsíci

      On some of those trails, yes. Some where very bumpy, but made it all that more fun. On most surfaces this thing rides pretty well, for a UTV.
      Thanks for watching.
