I've been cooking for over 20 years home cooking no help, just winging it. I decided today to see if I'm doing my strips correctly. (I am.) I also learned to cube and butterfly properly. Thank you!
Hello 👋 there 😊brilliant video. great tips .thanks ..looking forward to seeing the next videos..i have a big family and cook all sort of dishes 😋 ❤😊 stay safe. much love from us all in the Uk 🇬🇧
I never noticed that the grain runs side to side. I've been cutting it side to side (making shorter strips) but they are probably tough afterward since I didn't pay attention at first
I'll pass on that horizontal cutting part. Every time I've tried it, the cut is never straight, always dips down or something so in left with uneven pieces.
Are you having trouble learning how to cook? I created a course for you... check it out! homecookbasics.com/cooking-basics-course/
Thank you, first video I've found on this topic that is actually helpful :) I'm 21 years old and am learning how to cook for myself for the first time
