I own both products. Honestly I like the elf better. Under my foundation it does give a nice glow and for the price you basically can get 3 bottles of it and it comes out to the Charlotte Tilbury after taxes. After finishing my makeup I couldn't tell the difference. I'm definitely going to finish up the Charlotte Tilbury. But I'll stick to the elf and I had no problem finding my shade. It's a nice product. Also it's all about how you prep your face

I think the L’Oréal Lumi glowtion is a closer dupe to CT… I haven’t heard much about it in a few years!!! Weird.. Those elf budgeproof eye pencils? Absolutely amazing!! Just move quickly-it’s hard to remove if you make a mistake… really nice!!💋♥️💋♥️
I have fallen in love with the Milani Soft Focus Glow Complexion Enhancer in its lightest shade (I think it only comes in 3, but it's pretty sheer but buildable). I've never seen anyone talk about it though. It might be a best kept secret! I'll have to try the Elf out since I'm sure it'll be easier to get my hands on. Thanks for another great video 🤗
Thanks, Catherine! It's why I'll probably always film with a dSLR camera. So many of the newer/smaller cameras have software filters turned on that you literally can't completely disable, and for purposes like this where I want to see details and exact reality, not some glossed-over blurred interpretation of perfection, old-school is the way to go!
I never tried the CT one but I do like the e.l.f. one, I mostly use it as a base to get a more glowy finish, I think it looks really nice 👍 for what I've seen not exactly a dupe, but a good more affordable alternative... hugzzz 💜

I have a mini Charlotte Tilbury & I ended up buying two of the elf ( fair) halo 😇 because I knew it was going to sell out again ! I like them both. I think the Charlotte Tilbury is probably a little bit better color match !

The main reason why I never try the elf version is because I’ve heard their “fair” shade isn’t fair at all. Whereas the CT fair shade is actually a fair shade. Unfortunately the CT fair shade was sold out for over a year 🙄 but I finally got my hands on it and love it 🙌🏻
It took several months but I finally managed to get a bottle of the elf Halo Glow. I just happened to be shopping at Target the other day and they were stocking it while I was in the cosmetics dept. It is so gorgeous on the skin! I love the glow it gives my skin rather than a highlighter type of glow, aka/no shimmer. ☺
Totally agree with you!! And it looks really nice under foundation. Because it has more coverage it looks nice on it's own for days when you don't want to wear foundation. I think it's a dupe most definitely for the CT!

I use this as a primer all over under foundation. Huge Charlotte Tilbury fan. A couple of years ago, Essence made a great dupe. Why did they stop? I just got the elf as well, but will still always have the CT in my arsenal! PS... I like L'oreal's Glotion better, just sayin...

Have you tried the Purito Cica Clearing BB cream? It's very, very similar to the Born to Glow in how it looks on the skin (and you know how I love anything with centella asiatica!) If you don't require it to be drugstore, the LYS Triple Fix Serum Foundation is also similar (though at $22 it's not really prestige pricing either, considering some of the drugstore brands have breached the $20 mark with their foundations). Both are also vegan.

I can't afford the CT. I got my hands on the halo glow just before Christmas and I LO-HOVE it soooo much. I have the wet & wild pf foundation (not dewy one) and I wasn't happy with the shade and I didn't like that it was matt. With the halo glow under it the shade is perfect and it's dewy and I will now use it up. Next on my list is one of their O Face (weird name) lipsticks. They're supposed to by hydrating and long lasting according to other youtubers.
I agree the elf one should have lighter shades. I have both products too. They're both amazing in their own ways. I can justify having both. I have shade 2 and 1 in Charlotte Tillbury. I really can't get a highlighted effect with the elf like I can with the HFF. but it's beautiful as an all over base, which I don't do with charlotte.

I think it would work since it doesn't have the same shimmer that the Charlotte Tilbury does. This is an example where I think the Elf would work better for an all-over application.
I use the Beauty Pie equivalent. The overall problem with that one is that it only comes in one shade. Luckily, it's the right shade for me. But if I didn't have that one, I'd absolutely by the Charlotte

Don't you ship your Quirky Creators earrings to Canada? I just tried to order a pair and it wouldn't let me choose Canada as my country for delivery. U.S. was the only option.
I haven't gone international yet as I am not yet able to consult tax professionals on the legal requirements of selling internationally, and the soap and cosmetic-graded products are more complicated when it comes to international regulations. So it's something I'm not ready to get into yet (both legally and financially). I hope to get to that point someday!

I loved the Elf, but it was a bit dark on my skin tone-even in the lightest shade.
For the same effect, the Missha Bb boomer can be mixed into foundation. That’s what I use. I’m positive the Elf would be too dark for me as well.
I have both CT / ELF and the Maybelline Glow Perfector foundation...The Maybelline is my favorite of the 3 even above the C.T. 💁♀️

ELF brought on my cystic acne it was so bad on my skin. I love CT for me nothing has “duped” it yet.

Highlight does not make sense to me if everyone can tell you put highlighter on! It embarrasses me lol. Subtle natural glow is best imo
There isn't much that's natural about my makeup and hair color choices so I don't mind a blingy highlight 😂 I often strive for it lol!
