Thank you! Been waiting for March 16 and March 21 episodes. The awful detonation of the Osman clan was ALWAYS one of the most galling, frightening and exciting and upsetting moments in EastEnders, yet why no one brings it up is beyond me. What is with everyone making this and that about the Fowlers, Watts' and then the bloody Mitchells when they show up. The show is about EVERYONE and in the 80s they all mattered. In fact one of the most powerful, perfectly staged and executed duff duff moments (apart from the Walford Attacker's moments) and this one, plus the one where Donna tells Sue she slept with Ali and then also the following one where Ali catches Sue pretending to kiss his brother, was when Matthew got stabbed and we see the ambulance rush to Carmel's front door from the viewpoint of the Vic's living room window where Ricky drew attention to it.
@@nickyjones2709 No, that's just what they're told to have. Who are these people anyway? How do you expect certain characters to get a following if they're dumped within a few years of landing?
I would like to see more episodes with Melody (Lyanne Compton), Junior's friend. I had such a major crush on her. I used to have the episodes with her on VHS tape, but they have since been destroyed. I would truly appreciate it. It shows that she was on from 2 February 1988 to 2 November 1989. Thank you!!
@@tomhiggins6542what do you expect from someone who was abandoned and then treated like it was her fault? Kathy was vile here, it wasn’t Donna’s fault.
"Son of a bitch" isn't a swear word, lol! It's nowhere near as bad as "bastard", which EE wouldn't allow today. Ditto the racial slurs. We have less free speech in 2022 than we did 33 years ago and call it "progress".
Rehabilitating Donna was Dot’s second chance after Nick.
My favourite. ....Frank ....RIP MIKE REID 💕💕💕
The old pepsi coke can. Luv it.

Aha the one time Mehmet was innocent
People can't help it if they've got their favourites though.

Yes that would be good. 👍
Damn, TRUST the ending to go fuzzy. This ALWAYS happens to the 80s episodes, never all the weaker decades that followed! Grrr!
If you look at the transcript, you can read the last few lines of the episode.
@@patricebetts6531 Cool.
i do remember this episode on uk gold in 1998
so much better without the Mitchells
Feel so sorry for donna
Yes.
She was a stirrer and trouble maker. However she was also tragic, rejected by her Mother twice.

@@keeperofthe7keys1987 that's what I've said, Donna has elements of tradady to her.
Guizin said the SOB word! 😱 Was that reported to tv watchdogs?
No, they can fuck off! How do you expect there to be any power in these shows when the language that fits the behaviour can't even be used?!
Heck, Dynasty got away with the B word back in the early days of the 80’s.

No EE used language they wouldn't dare use now.
Joseph and toady 😀
Frank gets on my nerves.
I didn't really like Carmel's character.
