My favourite laundry is Mine’s in town fugalei. They are amazing. I left over $200 in one of my pockets. A few hours after we dropped off our washing Mine called to let me know she found cash and that she’d sealed it in an envelope. I wrote a post on Makeki Online about our experience and found out many others had the same experience.
Gosh, we truly take life for granted outside of Samoa. We were just gobsmacked at the cost alone but it is what it is there 😔 The girls are growing right before our eyes esp lil Noli 😍😍 School is back early there 😳 Love this “Day in a Life...” Stay blessed always fams 👍🏼❤️

I hear that EPC have a new phone app to facilitate electricity payments by phone.
And yes, that mildew is such a headache in Samoa. I use those tiny silica gel sachets that come with most of the goods you buy nowadays, like shoes.
Most supermarkets (incl. Lynn's) have these silica gel in bigger quantities. They are great for eliminating moisture in the air that usually reacts with mold. You just place them amongst your clothes and, viola!

New subby🤙, I just got back from Samoa a week ago. Man, I needed a laundromat on my last day...due to Tino passing thru, everyone was at the laundromat. So i washed my washing at Lotopa, then dried in Moata'a🤦♀️ I'm happy to have watched ur videos, so next time I need a laundromat, I know where to go. We just came from Samoa a week ago and we definitely miss everything back home so its nice to see Apia town and all those places in this vid again. The last time I was at ANZ Apia, they had a number system. Take a number, sit down and wait for your call. However, this was years ago lol ...I liked that system because you could at least sit down. Hopefully the banks and the govt departments sign up to the "Maua App" that was launched last week.

Is there anything you miss from the states?
For sure. Lots of stuff. But if we had everything in the States, we wouldn’t get to enjoy so many of the unspoiled natural sites that we have here in Samoa. It’s a trade off. And I’m glad there is a place like Samoa for people to come to and get away from the hustle and bustle of America. You should come!
