Some of those countries have 60% tax rate and higher.
I have no problem paying taxes, we need taxes to pay for schools and roads etc, all we need to do is to get the rich people to pay the same taxes as the rest of us and there would be plenty of money. The tax cut that Trump gave to his buddies cost our country trillions of dollars.

普段は標識のみでそこにある事を表示し、歩行者が歩道に備え付けのスィッチを押すと横断歩道が投影されるもの。
今より横断歩道で停まる車は増えるだろう。
Hoping that this kind of technology will be brought and introduced to the Philippines. However, that kind of technology cannot fit the budget itself.
In the city where I live, every traffic light is triggered by vehicles. If heavy traffic is going in one direction, they get green light more often and longer than lesser traffic crossing.
Unfortunately, same happens in my city... bad for "lesser traffic" and even worse for pedestrians. During daytime, at the crossing nearest to my home it's 4-5 minutes pedestrian red followed by a 15-second pedestrian green to cross five lanes.

やはり車の往来による摩耗から標識が見えにくかったり、白線が分かりにくくなっている点は、自治体が予算を組んで改修しなければいけないから、ライト型ならそういう税金の無駄は省ける気がする。

We'll not get that kind of equipment in the UK if it means spending money. Far more important that any money should go into rich people's pockets. We are a short-sighted country.
In the uk most of these innovations will never be adopted,due to the fact they don't generate income.

Many things are great. But let's not get so "wowed" that we don't consider, how many people will loose their jobs over many of these "innovations". Is it REALLY a good thing when people don't have jobs? What happens to them. Slowly, they're making people disposable. Is it so wonderful, when it's YOUR job? THNK about this. It WILL take your job too...soon enough. then what? THINK THINK THINK. then SLOW DOWN with this.
