I just did your video for the first time and I’m already hooked. I just have to learn the session,slow down,and breathe properly. I’m sure it will come together. Thank so much for your series of videos 🙏 I’m also going to request my gym to start a Tai-Chi class for seniors. I’m sure it would be a hit.
Thank you John. Many Tai Chi teachers do the traditional form which is a bit more difficult. I have purposely simplified the movements so they are easier to do - especially for Seniors. Blessings & Peace
My husband and I are in our 60's and 70's, respectively. We started your Tai Chi for seniors 3 months ago and a month ago we added the 20 minute Qichong for balance and cleansing. We've never felt better. Not that our balance was bad before but it has definitely improved. Thank you so much for simplifying these techniques for us seniors. ❤️ We look forward to many more years of this together. 😊😊

I do a lot of routines with eyes closed and also closed eyes and don’t support myself while on elliptical to work on my balance. But, I’m adding this video to my routine. I have been following your videos pretty religiously for the past year and I love them. I suffer from lots of chronic pain and vertigo so this video is perfect for this. If I was stronger I would teach it. But I am getting my family into it too. I'm so glad this new one is out and I hope that you will continue to put out more as you can. I just turned 70 last year and thought that I was in pretty good shape. However, I am finding that my flexibility is not what it used to be or what I would like it to be. Especially in my shoulder. This routine has helped with that and my pickleball playing has improved! Thank you
A very timely routine for me. I have been practicing with your guidance for about 3 years. Recently I have been dealing with vertigo. I find this routine to be a welcome addition. Peace and blessings.
Experiencing vertigo almost daily, am 95 in good health except for macular degeneration,... drs. tell me to accept it, but I think they treat younger people with more concern.... any comments? I walk, pracice yoga and tai chi, eat a Mediterranean diet, short daily walks, little gardening and socialize at the Senior ctr.all of this, slowly and caefully, Never had a fall. any comments from you and or OVER 90's
Don, I'm 81 and go to the gym seven days a week. One day is weight training (11/2 hr sessions) and the next is cardio such as lap swimming (40-60 minutes) or using the stationary rower (5k to 10k workouts). I stretch every day. I still have a problem with balance. I have done several balance-orientated videos. I thought I would try Tai Chi and did two of your videos today. If I slow down a bit, I know they are going to be quite helpful. Thanks!

I've been modifying the lifting up on toes by bending knees slightly then pressing into ball of feet to simulate. Have a foot/ankle with hardware that prevents lifting on toes...is this satisfactory. Thank you.
Ooo I liked that removing the negative and the calming breath. I have more balance than I thought. It helps to remove all distraction and concentrate of course. To empty the mind and balance yourself…🙏🏽🙋🏻♀️👍🏽Mia
Yes. Vertigo is unfortunate and can make one incapacitated at times. This routine helps as does the Medical Mediums Nerve Stabilizer Brain Shot found on his website. It’s good to use several approaches.
Whatever time works best for you. Some people like to get their energy going in the morning. Others prefer calming their energy at night; however, still others find that doing it at night gives them too much energy to go to sleep. Listen to your body and inner guidance.
U should consider going barefoot (as long as your on a conductive surface like cement) to get earths potential to balance electrical charge on the body. See "down to earth" with Clint Ober.
