WIN A GKTWO BUNDLE (SEE BELOW)
Hey guys, after my last video got a lot of feedback regarding it;s length, I wanted to let you all know that this is another video that may not resonate with many of you who have followed for a while. I have about 4 videos aimed at absolute beginners coming out.
The point of this one is for new people to watch before they even consider looking for a resin printer. This is an overview of the whole process, with a few handy tips and is a general guide on how printing works.
The next video will be more about the post-processing stage.
I wanted to go back and do these beginner videos before I move on to more advanced stuff, which is coming soon, including a video on how to dial in your printer perfectly and what all the settings mean (which is a long/boring video) that many people may find benefit from.
Whilst this may not be the video for you. I'd still love it if you could watch it, to help boost it to more people out there, Even if you just click play and leave it on Mute.
I just wanted you to know what this was, before people start complaining it's a waste of time.

I absolutely couldn't have done this without your awesome guidance, thank you for being so generous with your time and patient with my stupid questions.
... but you're absolutely wrong about that HeroQuest rule ;)
What i want for ALL future 3d printers is to have a heater by default, it's criminal to not have it in 2024 as it's such an essential part to ensure good printing.
It's not like it's difficult or expensive either; I doubt integrating a vat heater would add more than $10 in manufacturing cost per unit.
if you can't afford an external heater, how did you buy the printer. so no its a lame idea and just an added expense and something else to go wrong
@@Kiddeth That's an hilariously bad take and dumb reasoning, it's better to have an essential feature already builtin instead of having to spend extra time, troubleshooting and money to add it anyways to get an acceptable experience, especially when it doesn't add much cost to begin with.
@@Kiddeth 😂😂😂😂😂😂
When I watched to video, I realized that we only need one thing that is the heater. In fact, all the other parts are added for nothing, you dont even need the screen for resin printing. Just heater, heater and heater. Since GKTWO is the only model on the market with a heater, this makes it perfect :)
I'm so very thankful I found your content BEFORE I fully invested in resin printing! The process has been sooo easy compared to the horror stories I've heard others have gone through, and that's all thanks to you!
Your videos have been a huge help with helping me decide if I want to get into resin printing. I already have a FDM printer, but it wasn't printing at the quality I wanted for miniatures. I ended up buying the GKTWO set as my first one today based on yours and some of the other reviewers! It's great content and really helps to inform us newbies trying to get into the space so thanks a lot!
Thanks for shedding light on resin 3D printing! As someone familiar with FDM, this is my first dive into resin printing. Your video provides invaluable insights for better understanding this world. 🙌
So nice to have a miniatures printing channel. Honest fair and open. Thanks!
It was your channel that got me interested in printing in the first place. Thanks for your time and effort.
Trying to restart this hobby, and been watching your video for the last days (a lot)! Huge thanks for being so direct and transparent. Super well done! Especially the videos of screen resolution being irrelevant were a bit of an eye opener. Well done!
As someone who uses FDM almost daily now, I have always wanted to get into resin just for the quality you can get in prints both for busts and minis. This video has been super informative.
One of the best sources for honest info. Keep up the amazing job!
Love all of your videos. Your videos got me into 3D printing and I can't get enough of it. A GKTWO would be an amazing addition to my 3D printing set up. Thank you FauxHammer
Love your channel Ross and thanks for helping out Guy!

Been 3d printing two weeks and I'm just finding all the best CZcamsrs. I'm only doing fdm for now but do plan to add resin eventually. But I've watched a bunch of your videos and especially love you not blowing smoke about the differences between resolution and similar.
Great video as always. Really trying to get into the hobby and you've made it feel so accessible. Thank you!
I’m extremely grateful that I discovered your content prior to fully diving into resin printing! The procedure has been incredibly straightforward, unlike the daunting experiences others have shared. All credit goes to you!
Going to make my first purchase, one of the Phrozen Sonics mini or mighty idk yet.
I just conviced my wife, that we really need a 3d resin printer in my...I mean in our lives. Now I need to learn how to use it, because I really want to avoid "I told you its nonsense" situation :D

It's crazy how much printers like this are impacting the hobby. Thanks for this video :D
After finding out about 3d printing, trying it on a cheap fdm, failing, then finding out about resin and not wanting to fail again, I started watching many many vids. I finally found a trustworthy voice of guidance. If I don’t win, I’ll probably save up and buy one anyway. Thanks for your honest reviews.
Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to part 2. This channel is the man reason I have gotten into resin printing.
Great video, nice to see you getting back to basics. I watch a lot of your early videos when I was getting ready to buy my first resin printer last year.
Coming from FDM printing, theres so much more to learn. I think I need to dial in my Settings from start. Thank you verry much for your very informativ videos.
I've been umming and arring about getting into 3D printing the last few weeks and your videos have definitely steered me in a direction which is making it look more likely I will be confident in starting!
Your content covering the good and bad parts of the printer was what sold me.
Thank you
Great video, currently looking to upgrade my printers and you have been so much help :)

Great video and I am looking forward to the next parts.
Always great to cover the how to to beginner to expert, there's always new ppl jumping in and new tips to discover so I salute you for doing this :)
I'm currently saving to get a resin print. So much info on all the different print it's easy to get overwhelmed but your videos have been a great resource.
Knowing more about resin printing would have helped me substantially. I came from FDM printing terrain. I bought my first resin printer without realizing how frustrating and expensive it could be. I literally gave up after my first attempt and returned my printer. About two months ago, I bought a GKTwo and my experience has been significantly better.
Thanks for the beginner breakdown. Can't wait to eventually get my own resin 3d printer. I have been watching your channel a lot as research into what the best is for me.
Awesome vid. Been watching your videos to learn more into resin printing. Just got started on FDM recently. I really find this info usefull, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for this video, I'm considering switching from FDM to Resin and this really helped :)

I have to say I was interested in resin printing for a few years now, but didn't dive in till I found your channel. Your videos gave me the confidence to give it a go and have loved every moment of it. I'm now looking at getting a second printer. Thank You!

Just got into printing, this was very informative. I'm looking forward to the next in the series. Glad someone linked to this in grimdark.
Awesome video. Can't wait to start with my own 3D-Printer.
Great, albeit short, video, Russ! Looking forward to part 2.
I’m glad I found your channel. You’ve really helped in dialing in to get some great prints on my mono m5. I produce parts in 1/32 to 1/16 for all types of automotive type cars.👍👍
I've been running the GKTwo ever since you made the first video on it! Thank you for keeping up with the community and always being honest with us! Also, I hope your resin comes to the states one day!
Very informative, was deliberating between fdm and resin. Looking forward to part2
