I’m glad Marlon spoke his mind. Rhona had her own motives for changing her statement, it wasn’t entirely about “just telling the truth” she wanted Gus out of the way. By the time Gus gets realised Ivy will be old enough to know Rhona is her mum and Gus will be a complete stranger to her
At that point there is no relationship there between Gus and Ivy. Rhona knew what she was doing, that’s all I got to say

Honestly, her intentions are irrelevant. The man committed a serious crime, Rhona was the victim of that crime. She deserved to stand up in court and speak on how it's effected her.
Gus bought that child into thr world with no intention of letting her bio mother know of her existence. He wanted to move Ivy to France. Gus was perfectly fine with Rhona being a complete stranger to her own daughter, now the tables have turned and people are acting as if Gus is the victim
May you people please understand that Marlon's anger has nothing but nothing to do with ; oh no poor Gus, he is mad about how Rhona handle the Gus situation, how selfishly she handled it, how, after saying we will do what is best for Ivy, she only thought about herself and did what she wanted for herself. Marlon is mad because his wife is selfish, at the end she only choose herself and he can take it anymore.
Could be worse for Leo. Rhona could be halfway around the world on the run after abandoning him. 👀

Marlon is rightfully mad that she makes decisions all alone and all for herself when it concerns everyone. Plus, She said, from now on it's what's best for Ivy. Gus may be a bad everything, but he is not a bad father, what was best for Ivy was to have him in her life, her childhood.And Rhona didn't help with that. I am not saying he deserves an award as a dad but when you have the dingles and worse parents in the village, he can't certainly be called a bad dad, he didn't even have the "chance" to be. Seriously, when she took off with Ivy and didn't say anything to her family, that was a horrible move, they just didn't really had the time to sit down and blame her. She keeps escalating, Marlon had to draw the line. He said what he had to said and there is no point to keep talking to her when she won't even admit that she has been selfish. You go on Marlon.

I've missed this storyline I haven't been watching Emmerdale recently not seen it in months, so Rhona allowed her ex to use eggs, then wanted the baby and lied to get it???
Leo ♌️ is a great character his lovely 😻 it takes a Leo for the world to see that there human as well as us 🎉

Things shouldn't have got to this point but Marlon was right to speak his mind and he's right about what she's done. In Rhonas defence it wasn't her fault Gus stole her embryos but at the same time she shouldn't have kidnapped Ivy so they've both made mistakes. Mary played her part too so its partly her fault for bringing Ivy and Gus at Christmas instead of just doing visits to Gus's house to check on him and Ivy.

Instead they're angry with her for telling the truth about Gus. Rhona is the victim of Gus' crime but the people in her life care more about the effect of Gus and themselves than they do her.
Nobody is angry because she said the truth, Marlon is mad because she didn't tell him,but she said she didn't know yet, fine. He is mad because she did it JUST for herself, when she said what is best for Ivy, when it concerns her whole family. She is and has been selfish all along. Marlon is just drawing the line.
She also had ago at gus outside her court case for no putting ivy first because she could go to prison but then turns around and does exactly what gus did. She thought about herself and ivy and her family second . Both Gus and Rhona are in the wrong

Rhona is right .. Gus could double cross her again and then Rhona wouldn’t have a leg to stand on if she lied .. and it was up to the courts when the truth was told.
No one seems to care that if Gus had his way, Ivy would have never known her mother. Now the roles a reversed, he's facing the consequences of his own actions and he's somehow the victim?
From the very beginning Marlon and Mary were underplaying Rhona's feelings. Saying Ivy wasnt legally her daughter as if that meant she could just turn of her emotions. Why do they care more about Gus, who lied and commited multiple crimes that Rhona, his victim?
