    INGREDIENTS:
    1/2 kilo chicken wings
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/4 cup water
    1/2 cup cornstarch (for coating)
    2 tablespoon butter
    3 cloves garlic (minced)
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1 1/2 tbsp. soy sauce
    pepper to taste
    Steps:
    First prepare the chicken wings; season these with salt, pepper, garlic powder, all purpose flour, and water. Mix well. Let this marinate for 30 minutes.
    In another bowl, place in cornstarch. Coat the chicken with cornstarch, shake the excess off before deep frying for 10 - 12 minutes at medium heat. Flip to cook evenly.
    Place in a strainer and let this rest for 10 minutes. Then refry/double fry for 2 minutes at high heat. Take these out and set aside.
    In another pan; melt butter, and saute garlic until aromatic. Add soy sauce, sugar, pepper to taste, and a tablespoon of water. Mix well.
    Once the sauce is simmering and has slightly reduced, add in the fried chicken wings. Toss around till these are fully coated in the sauce. Garnish with spring onions.
