I get what you mean but at the same time this is also the issue. Standards dropped so much that we are championing players who care but simply not good enough. Believe me I would give my everything for the team every week, but we would get relegated.
How can one not be moved and inspired by this and keep working hard season in season out just to live these moments over and over again... you don't get these experiences often.
