  • Let's derive the Simple Harmonic Equations commonly used in all physics courses including A Level Physics, AP Physics, Engineering Courses, etc.
    We are going to start by considering the forces and solve a differential equation to achieve the result.

      Hi, I would check your syllabus and use it as a checklist but I would be highly surprised it it's not there.

      www.cambridgeinternational.org/Images/554625-2022-2024-syllabus.pdf Hello, here is the syllabus. By the way I very much recommend taking control of your learning with the syllabus, not just for this topic but for all others. So for your syllabus, this is on there (page 28, section 4). However they specify only the sine solution on there. Hope this helps!

    i think 3:30 to 5:50 is an accidental repeat duplicate.

      thanks for letting me know! I'll see if I can remove it within the CZcams editor.

    why does the + pheta (phase) disappear after you differentiate?

    • @zhelyo_physics
      @zhelyo_physics  Před rokem

      you are right, it should remain there. It's typically omitted but wanted to demonstrate that these equations are still valid if displaced by a phase. Hope this helps!

      nope, useful for understanding but I wouldn't revise this before an exam
