I almost didn't give it a chance, I generally don't like covers of such greats, but I am sooooo glad I did. SUCH a good job, I've never heard a better cover.
I have become OBSESSED by THIS live version, of one of the GREATEST and most technically DEMANDING rock songs of all time! It's not just anybody who can take on "The Dan" and faithfully hang with it. BRILLIANT guys! Absolutely AMAZING!

It's not that technical or demanding. Try Black Page II or Greggery Peccary. Or Free Hand. (czcams.com/video/vMrYSTzqFI8/video.html) Steely Dan was a little better than average. These songs are technical and very demanding.

Yes, great sound but complete idiots on video. I actually got dizzy from all the shot switching towards the end. Why couldnt they just stay on the person playing lead when it was his time? It looked like they had no idea who to put the camera on.
RE-SPECT. Dan is tough to play and make sound this effortless, their music is so sophisticated and clever. Well played everyone.
Steely Dan is technically complicated to play, and Donald Fagan's voice isn't easy to cover. They did a great job.

This song was part of the soundtrack to my childhood and this is one of the best live renditions I’ve ever heard. I’m also a musician and note for note, they really captured the essence of the studio recording here live! Great job

Like I said on another one of their covers, they can all take turns at being back-up singers as almost all the band members can play front man/woman on the various songs they have recorded. So refreshing to see such a class act.

Most bands have no business trying to do Steely Dan, and it's almost always painful... they're too nuanced and quirky. This isn't as gutsy as the Dan, but they pull it off damn faithfully and with amazing attention to detail. Respect.
You should check out Lexington Lab Band doing "Peg". Very well done!!

Kudos to the rhythm section. Many bands try to play this song but can’t recreate the groove. This band does it quite well.

Best performance of this song since I saw Steely Dan do it live on a Sunday evening April 21, 1974 at the University of Toledo's old Memorial Fieldhouse. No female backing vocalists that night but they had the mighty pipes of future legend Michael McDonald, and that was enough. Advance tickets were $4.50.
