The 2010 World Cup Final (Spain vs Netherlands), was a pretty violent game. Lots of fouls (mostly by the Netherlands) and late tackles. One in particular was Nigel De Jong (#8) literally delivering a flying kick to Xabi Alonso's chest. The referee didn't actually see the foul and only gave a yellow card. No VAR then so De Jong got away with it.
