Thank you for watching Part 1 of my Canada RV adventure. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. ❤AB
Thank you Tony… Totally enjoyed this video. Look forward to pt2, Safe Travels
I really love the RV and the snow is so amazing...
Cuidese ese resfriado, esperemos se recupere pronto
Where is Bruno
I'm watching from the beginning now. Beautiful vistas. Thank you.
“Get your own channel, and go and make your own hotdogs…in the middle of Canada, suffering camping like I’m doing”. As a midwestern American that completely understands how something as silly as “hotdog prep” can divide a nation…I approve of this message! And side note-I was giddy with excitement when I saw you’d posted this video!! You just keep doing you-your loyal followers love it!! 😊 Thank you so much for letting us live vicariously through you!!
👏👏👏
Choo Choo train 😅 he saw you😂
I laughed out loud at that line. So funny.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👋
the childlike laughter when he’s sitting in the snow storm is just infectious…. that’s what life is all about.❤
New sticker idea!!!! "Bring The Grim With You"
🙏🙏🙏for Crazy Neighbor and for Steve that has had so many sad moments in the past years… beautiful wife his Mom and now his friend… 🙏Steve!
Oh dear. I am saddened to hear his friend has passed. But Steve gave him so many memorable experiences. Amen for them.
I want to believe that the train driver blasted his horn because he had just noticed his favourite CZcamsr ,Tony from AB camping on the other side of the water
Currently in bed sick. Happy to have an adventure to watch. ❤
Thank you Tony!!👍💞 We All missed you like crazy! I knew you wouldn’t make us suffer too long. Thank Goodness You’re Back!!!✅
My wife is home from hospital recovering from challenges with her mental health. This video was perfect for her to watch. So relaxed, chilled and a beautiful setting. Thanks.
Hi Tony, seems that the buzzing sound that power lines produce is caused by a phenomenon called corona discharge. Corona discharge is an electrical discharge that occurs when a fluid surrounding an electrically-charged conductor becomes ionized. In simple terms, it’s the noise that air (surrounding the power lines) makes as electricity jumps through it.
Really bad fires 🔥 destroyed many trees last summer in Canada.
I absolutely loved this video. It was like we got to see a different side of you. You were so relaxed and excited all at the same time. Your dad must have been a cool cat. I love potato chips on my sandwiches. Try some plain Ruffles or Layes on a PBJ. Amazing. 😂 I can’t believe you found an Indian restaurant where you were camping. I remember you mentioning in an old live stream that Indian was your favorite. Can’t wait for Part 2. Thanks again for all you do and safe travels.
Thank you so much
you crack me up every time you say get your own channel! its so true! if you dont like how Tony makes his food or does his stuff, then do it your way! ON YOUR CHANNEL. :)
Tony......the silence in the trees, the crunching of your feet as you walk, the sound of snow pelting down on your jacket, and so much more really solidifies your talent as a videographer Further, as a Canadian, it's wonderful to listen to your narrative as you enjoy what so many of us take for granted. Thank you for renewing my appreciation of our beautiful winters. You're an inspiration.
Wow, thanks
I second that notion. Canada is so lovely, and so is Tony.❤😊
And I’m in Washington State, USA, Vancouver., which is also awesome. But the Canadian Rockies, wow, plus so many waterways, I’m in love. I love watching Steve, and other Vanlifers. VanLifePlus, Vancity Vanlife, Catlady Van life. Tony turned me onto Steve Wallis months back. He’s great too.❤😊
Hey Tony, this was absolutely great. I can’t wait to see Part 2! I’ve always wanted to take an RV across the country so I’m living vicariously through you. 😁
Came here after seeing you with Camping Steve. Any channel that gets his stamp of approval is cool in my book.
Yes, awesome! I'm so glad you met up with Steve. He is our Canadian Icon, just as you are New Zealand's Icon! Even though I found you first.
I’ve been watching both for ages, I was so surprised that they met up. I’ll have to watch it.
There’s literally an Aussie saying “Keen as mustard” been saying all my life, and I’m older than you 😂
As all the cigar smoke gets sucked into vent fan …. Ask how I know….?? Funny story !!
Although I’m not a camper, I enjoy your videos tremendously (especially when Bruno is with you 🐾)! Life has changed so much in the last 4 years and it’s difficult to fall asleep with far too much to (over) think about. Watching your adventures takes me to a happier place and helps me to fall asleep. Thanks for all you do to bring this excellent content to the rest of us. Sending lots of ❤️ from Texas 🤠
Oh, I love how you think that is a lot of snow in the car park. That's so cute. At the same time you took that picture, you should have seen on the news what Cape Breton Island, NS got. I owe my neighbors gift cards from the liquor store for having me shoveled out after I worked that whole weekend in our ER.
Yes, Cape Breton was invaded by Snowgoons! But they're hardy folks, they vanquished them!
Thanks Tony really enjoyed part one, looking forward to part 2. I know I could not do that cold!
Hello from the Pyrenees mountains Spain. I listened to a repeat of your live chat and enjoyed it tremendously. Thanks for this video of your Canadian adventure. 👍🥰🤗
Our lovely Tony is definitely all man , but with an infectious childlike enthusiasm. Throughly enjoyed your video Tony. Take care of yourself and keep safe lovely man. ❤
Hi Tony so happy to see you in my province Beautiful British Columbia. whisler. Is Beautiful but also very expensive so don’t buy to many groceries there , your moter home is so cozy , we haven’t had our usual snow this year it’s been very scarce, I am so excited to see where you go, I hope you come to Kamloops it is also very pretty, well welcome to Canada and have a safe and wonderful time, I did catch your live marathon is was brilliant 💐🍺cheers
Love kamloops and Sunpeaks. My mum goes every year for 4 months. She was happy to finally get this snow also ❄️
Cheers from Tassie
One day I wish to live like you. Enjoying life to the fullest
Love this video, Tony! Love that huge van, too! Sorry you weren't feeling good at first but you're a brave soul. Canada is so beautiful-- Whistler is just stunning. I love the snow, too. Thanks for taking the time to share with us.
Snow, rain, and fog causes humidity, air density, and moisture increases which increases the conductivity of the air. Which causes the electrical field around the line reach a conductivity tipping point. That leads to corona discharges and the noise. The snow also dampens other enviromental noises.
I live in Ontario, Canada I never thought about the buzz power lines made. I just thought it was normal and powerlines just buzzed
It is normal
True. I guess I should have said I never thought about why
OMG, I’m on Tony’s Tour Bus-BIG BUD! Tony, I feel like I am on this road trip with you, the most entertaining tour guide anyone could have. Beautiful scenery, interesting facts, fun times, good food and oh yeah-it’s cold!🥶. Your Dad was a sandwich genius! We used to do the same layering in our sandwiches with ham or bologna, potato chips and mustard, push down on the bread, hear the crunch and chow down. I may have to make one for old times sake! Thanks for the fun memory. I’ll be anxiously waiting to continue the tour. 💙💙🐾🐾
Thank you!
Lovely video Tony. I soo can see myself sitting in a camper one day like you do. I feel a little bit like I am on vacation in Canada. Enjoy your trip, stay safe. Greetings from the Hague, the Netherlands.
Fantastic! I love Canada in winter. As pretty as Narnia-almost. The village was great! 🍿🍷⛺️🐕🦺
Hi Tony! Thanks for sharing your Canadian adventures with us! The motorhome looks amazing! I always look forward to your videos! Safe travels and enjoy! Sorry that you were feeling grim when you arrived in Canada; hopefully you are feeling better!
Hi Tony, wow your video was such a fabulous surprise. Woke up here on a rainy Auckland morning to see your cheery wintery face. So happy to see you 😊😊😊. A big change in location and hemisphere from your usual camping experience 😊😊😊
Good to see you again. Missed your videos. Mis Bruno so. Hope you are enjoying your trip. Please stay safe
Happy Tony, happy snow....ha-ppy ha-ppy snow, just a ha-ppy ha-ppy ha-ppy snow. 🎶
Embracing the chill with style! 🌨️ Your ‘Winter Vanlife in Canada - Camping in Snow - Part One’ video is a true testament to the adventurous spirit. The serene snowscapes and your cozy van setup have me hooked. Can’t wait for the next part! Stay warm and keep exploring! ❄️🚐
Tony, I throughly enjoyed this video. I was actually glued to screen. I was right there with you. Can not wait for part 2.
Just breathe! Glad you got your answer!
Well! That was a jam-packed video! So much content. I laughed right out loud when you plunked your camp chair In the snowbank And took a seat! Such beautiful scenery everywhere. I absolutely could not believe it when you were parked in the campground where you were so isolated & somebody came and parked near you!
It couldn't have been easy to get all the shots you did and go take walks when I'm thinking you weren't feeling very well. That is all really appreciated. Can't wait for part two! Oh, I'm an admin for your facebook page, & between this video, and your facebook live the other night, that page is hopping with new members!
Thank you Wendy. It was a struggle but I pushed through.
I once took a hike up a small mountain behind my house in a blizzard best hike of my life, must be why I love your videos
Hello Tony,
As an Albertan, it is such a pleasure to see you enjoying yourself in Canada. I have been to various places in BC but never been to Whistler. It was such a joy watching put away that hamburger and those hot dogs and made me very hungry.
You are a natural driving that monster along our highways, mountain passes and your footage is lovely. Thank you. I am already looking forward to the seco d part.
Take care,
Aida
Tony , I loved this video. I sure missed Bruno;however, it was so amazing seeing all the places you traveled. Awesome … thanks for sharing… look forward to Part 2.
Super stoked you enjoyed the beautiful province I call home! ❤
Wonderful trip. I am Australian lived in New Zealand many years also. Have visited Canada three times. It is the only country that I think compares to New Zealand for so much picture post card scenery at every turn. Enjoyed it and all your videos soooo much. I am addicted to watching all your travels. Miss puppy but look forward to you reunion. Safe return
Hi Tony,
Looks cold, but amazingly beautiful there. Power lines, especially high tension lines will buzz louder when there's any kind of moisture in the air. The energy flowing through the lines transfers to the air around them as it passes. More moisture, more noise. ( I used to live by some)
Didn't they have any smaller RV's for you to rent? That thing is a beast!!
Glad you're having fun!!!
You bring a lot of joy to the lives of others. Keep doing what you do, Tony. Was so, so sorry to hear about Bruce.
Thank you
We watched all of Part One as our Saturday night entertainment- really enjoyed it. Thanks Tony
Fantastic video can't wait for the next installment, enjoy the next part of your trip!😊😊
After the plunger broke, i would have headed back to bed! 😊 You didn't upset me with dogs, you made me hungry and it's midnight here 😢
Love the snow, do not like driving in it. Snow on the pine trees, awesome!
Am i the only one that notices when he mentions the size of something like the burger he sneaks in a "that's what she said" most of his videos? It's too funny. 😂😂
I find it annoying
Your Living the Dream Tony... Fantastic place , thanks for showing us
You bet
Tony don’t forget to Rollllll up the rim with the Timmy’s cup ! 😂
Welcome to Canada, 🇨🇦 love to see you here and enjoying yourself, please come to Alberta if possible it is as beautiful as BC
Thank you for posting your videos. I live in Maryland and I do not go camping but my daughter and son in law go all the time they always ask me to join them but I decline I do not like camping but I love your videos. The haters that complain about you having a drink and a cigar well tell them DO NOT WATCH YOU as for me I love to hear your conversation and you enjoying yourself. I am 77 and I love your post just keep doing what you are doing. Stay blessed and safe.
Thank you for making this video it is so pretty but yet looks so cold can’t wait for part two
All I can think of as you are showing us the stream on the walk to the village for a coffeepot, is how much darling Bruno would enjoy all this snow and the stream!
We, both my dog and I watch you satisfyingly adventurous videos. Chase likes Bruno
Really enjoyed this video tony it looks amazing when its snowing in Canada and the scenery is wonderful where you are bruno would of loved that snow cant wait to watch Part 2 really enjoy all your videos take care.I am watching from the Uk.😊
It’s so beautiful there! I’m loving the snow!
Thank you so much taking us with you. I love snow stream and mountains. Hope you heal soon.
Tony. Loved this video, Can't wait to see part 2. You asked about the power lines buzzing, an electric field surrounds power lines and causes implosion of ionized water drop- lets in the air, which produces the sound. 😊❤
I live in Canada and have never been outside of Nova Scotia. So getting to see a different part of Canada from this video. Thanks for always keeping us entertained ❤❤
Brilliant video Tony. Watched the whole thing! Canada 🇨🇦 looks amazing 🤩
Tony...you are so funny! I love how excited you get after preparing your meals! I chuckle every time you say...She Said!!! Thanks for making my day a brighter one!
I bet it looks nice at Christmas that's going by what you have shown, I bet you're dog would have loved it there.
I love the snow it's so beautiful
Yummy burger! Glad you found the snow - must have grim! Thanks for taking us on your North American adventure. Glad you didn't go out on your first night. You sounded a bit too sick to leave your toasty camper.
Never stop these videos they are so crystal clear in 4k no need to wear glasses Tony it's such inspirational camping at its best . I actually like this RV camping although i'm not a fan but its changed my mindset . Thank you for making this possible Tony. The views are spectacular Juniper beach so lovely really. Makes us realise how good it is to be alive the wonders of nature.
Thank you Tony for sharing part 1. Enjoyed watching your video. Hope you feel better soon.
Love watching you! Come camp in Michigan, USA. you have fans here
Hey Tony. Thanks for making another awesome video. Just at the part with the coffee maker and the plunger going wrong. I really felt your pain!😮💨
Wow Tony! What a fun adventure so far! I have really been enjoying watching you travel from place to place. Seeing the different campgrounds you go to. I loved seeing that train pass and honk at you. How cool! All the beautiful snow and views! Your rv is very nice. I love how roomy and well equipped it is. My parents used to have a Winnebago/RV when I was little. We took that everywhere. It had everything. Basically a house on wheels. I am looking forward to the 2nd part of your trip. Be safe and enjoy!
Hello Tony,, This was just so beautiful to watch and so enjoyed every bit of it.Look forward to part 2.
Tony, so fun to see this from you today! I was hoping for a post from you soon. The scenery there is very beautiful; so glad it snowed for your trip! I love the RV…so roomy and well outfitted! I’m off to enjoy the rest…You are now on your way walking to the village for more supplies and a working coffee machine! I’ll check in again at the end. Thanks for filming for our enjoyment! Glad you are feeling better now. 🤗❤️ Harriet from North Carolina
👋Tony, It is Sun.3/17/24 cloudy/sunny a bit chilly in Cali. Lazy relax blanket cozy watching this video once again. Every time you get a coffee or something to eat, I do, too ❣️😅😁🤣🤭 So once again, safe travels and keep being you💯👍💯👍
Great episode Tony, thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for more. Snow is the best, I’m totally with you. It was great to see your camera setup in the van, I like the behind the scenes titbits. With your daypack, what model do you have, there are so many. We’re on the lookout for a decent one and would value any info. Guess what we’re having for dinner tomorrow - Indian! I’ve got the tastebuds going and need my fix lol😅. Thanks for all your hard work at putting the episodes together, it was a great way for us to spend 3 hours of laughs and entertainment. 🙏
I'm also one who thrives in the snow and cold. I was raised in the Rocky mountains in Wyoming....they were my playground growing up. Circumstances brought me to the southern United States as an adult so I don't get to enjoy the Snow much. I don't have the means to get up north too much so I definitely am living vicariously through your videos. Thank you ❤
Hi Tony, thanks for the great video. Here's the answer to your power line question. Apparently it DOES happen when it rains as well.
The condition of the air-meaning the humidity, air density, wind and moisture from rain and fog-can all cause high-voltage lines to emit a noise. Because these elements increase the conductivity of the air, the intensity of the corona discharge increases, and so does the noise. Enjoy your trip.
Thanks for that explanation! I learned something new.
Hey Tony, I'm just seeing this video and you're sick. Get you sum lemon, honey, & tea dear. It will make you feel much better. I don't like to see you sick. You & Bruno are my favorite guys😂.
I'll continue to watch the rest of the video, luv you😘.
Hey Tony!! I’m a fairly new subscriber from York, but have wanted to comment for a little while now. I have already watched so many of your adventures with brucie and Bruno, my condolences btw ❤ what a beautiful boy. I’ve always wished that my favourite campers would make long form content, and then I found you! I love the fact your videos are 3 hours long, I can chill with a good cuppa and enjoy 😊 thank you for this!
I live in Kamloops Tony and all the burnt trees are from wild fires last summer, and with not having as much snow as we usually get this winter, we are concerned for more fires this summer as it gets so hot drive safe and enjoy your adventure ( oh and you did come to Kamloops if only for a few minutes)👏👏👏👏
Well hello Tony amazing to see you're amazing camping 🏕️ video like always I really enjoy watching you and Bruno I really like you're RV
I have been feeling under the weather this weekend so it was so nice to watch part 1. Loved it and can’t wait for the next installment.
WOW!! Thank you for letting us share your journey! You are crazy being outside in the snow. I pray that you get better from your health. Poor you having problems with the coffee machine. I just love the snow.
This has been such a fun adventure! As someone who has been up and down the Alaska Highway and through BC and Alberta three times, once in summer, once in January, and once in March, I can empathize with the surprises and difficulties. The beauty of it all is worth it😊
Tony,
Corona discharge
The buzzing sound that power lines produce is caused by a phenomenon called corona discharge. Corona discharge is an electrical discharge that occurs when a fluid (like air) surrounding an electrically charged conductor becomes ionized. In simple terms, it’s the noise that air (surrounding the power lines) makes as electricity jumps through it.
Larry from Texas
Good explanation. Although upon seeing "Corona Discharge", I immediately visualized the ash and smoke of a cigar! 😅😅😅
Great video. The snow is beautiful and actually the whole scenery is beautiful. Those hotdogs looked so perfectly yummy, hotdogs are my favorite. Thanks for sharing your trip! Can’t wait for part 2.
Whistler snowed like that when we were there about 7 years ago. I loved Canada in the winter
It's stunning. Thanks for sharing. Just beautiful. Jasper is great as well. Mountains snow and trains. Can't get better than that !
Thank you Tony for sharing your adventures with us, i am a snow lover also, so i too love the cold weather. Nothing like it in all the world, when i went on my adventure i went to Alaska….
Canada is gorgeous!
Thank you for bringing us along!
You are a breath of fresh air😊
I watched the other video and am aware of what takes place... I was wondering to cover the miles you had intended that a train trip might have been a better option as far as distance... glad your having fun any way.
so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this! ❄️ ☃️ ❄️
I've seen you in snowstorms, and icy conditions and on Mars. I would've thought it was very cold there. Sad Bruno couldn't come. He would have loved the weather. The RV is cool! And so big! Especially the bedroom.
Wow To y it’s really cold out there thank you for this part 1 great video keep it coming
Wishing you well hope you feel better soon
The van is nice Enjoy it 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Great video Tony. Can’t wait until part 2.
Excellent Content. Sorry you’re sick. ❤
@ABCampingTony it would not be camping with Tony if something did not go wrong & everything went smoothly something somewhere has to go wrong for it to be a @ABCamping video😊 the scenery looks stunning I'm kind of jealous I'm not going to lie looks like you had a fantastic time great video as always keep up the great content from a viewer here back in good old blighty aka the uk 🇬🇧
Hahaha that was hilarious get your own channel make your own hot dogs😂
Tony, you did an excellent job editing this video, and bringing us along on your journey. The snow looked so beautiful on the trees. Of course the coffee maker didn’t work and smoke alarm went off-just your luck! Lol
Hope you have been enjoying your time in Canada!
This trip is amazing! Ty so much! Growing up, my friend and I ate Bologna sandwiches with chips and mustard. Awesome!
We from Canada call them Canadian Geese! I am watching from Saint John New Brunswick Canada 🇨🇦 your video is awesome to watch, glad you are enjoying your time here. You likely know that Canada 🇨🇦 is the second biggest country in the world 🌍 Drive safe, and thanks for sharing!
